Yesterday, we proudly launched the 2025 Kmart Wishing Tree Appeal in New Zealand at our Porirua store, marking 32 years of supporting New Zealand families in need at Christmas.   NZ Minister of Foreign Affairs, Rt. Hon. Winston Peters, joined Kmart Group’s Chief Corporate Affairs & Sustainability Officer, Alexandra Staley, and The Salvation Army New Zealand, Fiji, Tonga & Samoa's Chief Secretary, Jennifer Groves, to kick off this year’s Appeal and encourage New Zealanders to give generously this festive season.    Thank you to our team members, partners, and customers for helping make Christmas brighter for those doing it tough. Recently I had the privilege of attending Wesfarmers' Annual General Meeting in Perth and presenting the Kmart Group strategy to our shareholders.   It was wonderful to see all of the Wesfarmers divisions come together and showcase their products and services. Thank you to our amazing Kmart Group team members who contributed to making this a wonderful event for shareholders.    I am proud of what we have achieved together and even more excited about what lies ahead.

Steel is going up at our brand-new Moorebank 100,000 sqm Omnichannel Fulfilment Centre in Moorebank, NSW (cc Moorebank Intermodal Precinct ESR Group). Richard Crookes Constructions has begun installing the first of 1,500 tonnes of locally made steel beams, with 50% of the steel delivered to site, and with fabrication reaching 100% completion. Once complete, our Omnichannel Fulfilment Centre will transform the way we serve our customers across Australia, leveraging leading-edge logistics technology in the heart of Sydney’s freight network. By modernising our fulfilment capabilities, we’re increasing speed, efficiency and flexibility across our network – so that we can keep delivering everyday joy to our millions of Australian customers each week.
