Over 1,300 cubic metres of concrete has been poured at the Integrated Mental Health Complex, delivered in partnership with Health Infrastructure. This marks a major milestone in the delivery of the purpose-built 10-storey mental health facility. In total, more than 122,000 cubic metres of concrete will be poured over the life of the project. The first major concrete pour is complete for the new $540 million Integrated Mental Health Complex, marking a key milestone for delivery of the state’s largest mental health facility. More than 1,300 cubic metres of concrete has been poured to form the foundation of the ground floor for the new, purpose-built 10-storey facility at Westmead, marking the next phase of construction. When complete in 2027, the complex will deliver high-quality, contemporary care in purpose-built therapeutic environments to supporting patients and their families on their journey to recovery. Proudly delivering Maitland Mental Health Rehabilitation project in partnership with Health Infrastructure as part of the NSW Government’s $700 million Statewide Mental Health Infrastructure Program. This modern, purpose-built health facility on the Maitland Hospital campus will deliver 64 beds - providing upgraded mental health support for adults in the Hunter and surrounding communities. The facility will include three inpatient units – low secure and medium secure forensic units, and a rehabilitation and recovery unit.
