🏆 A Record-Breaking Day at Olivine! We are proud to announce a remarkable achievement made possible by our Olivine community. Yesterday, alongside Cricket Victoria and the Melbourne Renegades, we set a new GUINNESS WORLD RECORDS® title for the Largest Cricket Lesson (Single Venue) - with an outstanding 1,070 participants taking the field. From local families to students from Hume Anglican Grammar and Donnybrook Primary School, the turnout was extraordinary. Together, they transformed the Olivine Recreation Reserve into a celebration of community pride. This milestone is part of our broader commitment to supporting active, connected neighbourhoods across our residential communities. Through our partnership with Cricket Victoria and the Melbourne Renegades, we’re creating opportunities for young people to develop new skills and build lifelong connections. As Olivine continues its journey toward a future home for around 11,000 residents, moments like this help shape a vibrant and engaged community and perhaps even spark the beginnings of future cricket stars.

We’re proud to celebrate two very special acknowledgements from the UDIA Queensland Awards for Excellence. Our project Quay Waterfront Newstead was recognised with the Excellence in Construction Award. This is great acknowledgement of our team’s hard work, collaboration and attention to detail in delivering a standout project. It was also great to see that Warwick Bible, former UDIA Queensland President, Vice President and Board Member, has been recognised with Life Membership for his significant contribution to the Institute and the property industry. Warwick’s leadership through challenging times, his advocacy for better housing outcomes, and his ongoing support of our people make this recognition very well deserved. Congratulations to Warwick and the entire team for this well deserved recognition.

Our 2025 Mirvac Way ‘building the imagine nation’ roadshow has wrapped up, and what an incredible few weeks it’s been. The Mirvac Way is our time to come together, connect, and celebrate what makes Mirvac unique. This year’s event showcased how we use our imagination to create extraordinary places, experiences, and opportunities across every part of our business. We were joined by Melissa Doyle AM and Tim Reed, whose keynotes inspired conversations about building brands, embracing challenges, and creating community connections through their work with the GWS GIANTS. Their perspectives resonated with this year’s theme and reminded us of the impact imagination can have on our business.  Thank you to everyone who took part and congratulations to our award winners, who continue to raise the bar in everything they do. The events were a great reminder that there’s no limit to what we can imagine and achieve together.

Harbourside, a visionary $2 billion mixed use precinct by Mirvac with partner Mitsubishi Estate Co., Ltd. (MEC,) reimagines the original Harbourside shopping centre. The new Harbourside precinct, due for staged completion from late 2026 will create a network of public spaces that seamlessly bring together community, visitors, residents, and workers. Rising above a widened and landscaped waterfront promenade, the new Harbourside will feature integrated and curated retail with offerings for all visitors, new generation workspaces and residential living, set within over 10,000 square metres of public open space and 5,000 square metres of living and green roofs.   The removal of the stage one tower crane is an exciting milestone for the completion of the stage one commercial space at Harbourside which comprises 13,500 square metres and will be known as 10 Darling Drive. Just a quick walk from Town Hall station, Harbourside’s commercial spaces will boast stand-out ESG credentials, premium facilities, access to private terraces and spaces with waterfront views – a new workplace oasis. We’ve also recently announced the highly anticipated next release of ultra prestige residences at Harbourside, unlocking the upper levels of the 48-storey tower where the views transcend any experienced in Sydney before.   Mirvac’s CEO of Development, Stuart Penklis said: “Harbourside is the pinnacle of Darling Harbour’s $15bn renewal. Residents and workers will move in to a completely transformed Darling Harbour precinct that sets a new standard for how we experience life on Sydney Harbour. What was once a place for locals and tourists to visit on a day out will be a place where people also work and live.”   Watch our latest construction update here: https://lnkd.in/gfX6VcaN

Mirvac has been named the #1 Best Workplace to Give Back in the 2025 GoodCompany Awards - a recognition driven by the scale and impact of our volunteering efforts. This year, 950+ employees took part in 90+ activities across the country during our National Community Day, supporting local organisations through hands-on work like gardening, meal prep, and blood donation. It’s part of our broader commitment where: ·      We offer unlimited paid volunteer leave, ·      Through our Giving Program, we match employee donations dollar for dollar - helping turn individual contributions into collective impact. We’re proud to be building a workplace where giving back is part of our every day.
