  • Welcome to 120 Collins Street, Corrs Chambers Westgarth!   We’re delighted to welcome Australia’s leading independent law firm to one of Melbourne’s most iconic commercial towers – now home to Corrs Chambers Westgarth’s new Victorian headquarters.   Spanning 9,000 sqm across eight high-rise floors, the new office was designed by Bates Smart. The move marks a major milestone in Corrs’ 175-year history and reflects the firm’s commitment to creating a future-focused environment for its people and clients.   120 Collins is Australia’s tallest office building, with panoramic views over the Yarra and Port Phillip Bay, premium amenities, and a revitalised workplace experience that is as elevated as its skyline.   Welcome to the building, Corrs – we’re excited to have you here.

  • We were proud to partner with Foster + Partners and the Property Council of Australia to host an industry tour of Parkline Place, Gadigal Station, and the Foster + Partners Civic Vision exhibition – their first major public architecture exhibition in Australia.   Led by Mark Tait, Danielle Bryan, Muir Livingstone, and Aleksandra Mlynczak, the tour offered a close look at Parkline Place, the 39-storey Premium-grade commercial tower delivered by Investa on behalf of Oxford Properties Group and Mitsubishi Estate Asia Pte. Ltd.. Designed by Foster + Partners, the building sits above Gadigal Station, named one of the World’s Most Beautiful Passenger Stations for 2025 by the prestigious global architecture and design award, Prix Versailles – and is also designed by Foster + Partners with Cox Architecture.   Guests also heard from Barbara Flynn on “Seeds of Flight” by Tomás Saraceno, his first permanent public artwork in Australia, suspended in Parkline Place’s triple-height lobby.   Thank you to everyone who joined us.

Courtney Raven took to the stage at the FuturePlace Living Sectors Summit to moderate a panel including Lizzie Wheeler, Von Slater, Tom McDonald, Brice Lacker and Rory Hunter, diving into what drives successful operation and management of living sector assets. Key themes included resident experience, driving investor value, and optimising assets for long term performance and the role of technology. A clear takeaway was that the 1% matters – small details can significantly shape the resident journey, and are worth the attention. Technology – particularly resident apps and smart platforms – is enabling better decision-making, from maintenance insights to measuring community engagement ROI. We were also pleased to host attendees at our flagship Build to Rent residence, Indi Sydney, offering a firsthand look at what ‘renting built around you’ truly means.

Two of our buildings have been recognised by the Australian Institute of Architects 2025 National Architecture Awards, with fresh trophies collected for the pool room.   Indi Sydney – the CBD’s first purpose-built Build to Rent residence that sits atop Gadigal Station – was awarded the National Award for Residential Architecture – Multiple Housing. Designed by Bates Smart, the jury called it “beautifully planned” and praised its progressive approach to collective living.   39 Martin Place, designed by Tzannes and part of the Sydney Metro Martin Place Integrated Station Development, received a National Commendation for Commercial Architecture and was celebrated for its elegant curves, heritage-inspired materials, and exemplary environmental performance.   Congratulations to Sydney Metro, winners of the Walter Burley Griffin Award for Urban Design for the Sydney Metro City Stations.   Manulife, Lendlease, Macquarie Group, Oxford Properties Group, CPB Contractors   Photo credits: 1. • And the 2025 Global PropConnex winner is… The University of Queensland!   For the third consecutive year, a team from Australia/New Zealand has taken out the top spot at the Global PropConnex competition – and this year, it’s UQ leading the way.   Held last week in New York City, the 17th Annual Cornell PropConnex International Real Estate Competition brought together 21 universities from around the world. UQ and UNSW earned their places on the global stage after placing in the top two teams at the ANZ PropConnex regional finals in September.   PropConnex gives students the chance to tackle real-world business challenges, connect with industry leaders, and sharpen their skills in a high-pressure, high-impact environment. We’re proud to have supported PropConnex for the past two years – part of our commitment to backing the next generation of talent and welcoming the world to better places.   Congratulations to all the teams involved, and especially to UQ on an outstanding result. The future looks bright.

  • Another proud moment for Indi Sydney, featured in The Sydney Morning Herald as part of its ongoing reviews of apartment life by Julie Power. With Build to Rent (BTR) gaining momentum, apartment living is fast becoming the new Australian dream – and a fresh chapter in Sydney’s housing story. Purpose-built BTR communities like Indi Sydney, perched above Gadigal Station in the heart of the CBD, are helping meet demand for high-quality, well-located homes while offering greater housing diversity. The strong leasing uptake at Indi Sydney reflects what today’s discerning renters value: flexible lease terms, security of tenure, the freedom to personalise their space, and a genuine sense of community. Add to that hotel-style amenities – like Indi Sydney’s heated indoor pool, rooftop dining and entertaining terrace, co-working spaces, a fully equipped gym, yoga room, and more – and it’s easy to see why residents are choosing lifestyle over traditional renting. Indi Sydney resident Jo puts it best: “I am never moving out. It’s the best thing I’ve ever done. It is like living in a resort. “I don’t see it as rent. I’m paying for a lifestyle. I’d rather pay more because I don’t need a gym membership, I have beautiful facilities, and I don’t have to leave. I can have lunch or a drink on the rooftop, looking out across the harbour.” Thank you, Julie, for the feature.
