Updates

  • Coinciding with the launch of our large format retail precinct in Ellenbrook over the weekend, our CEO Nigel Satterley sat down with The Australian Financial Review's Michael Bleby to talk about our expansion and diversification into commercial real estate, currently underway. “Conservatively now we’ve got $500-$600 million of these assets under our control,” Satterley told The Australian Financial Review . “We’ve got an immediate pipeline for a further $500 million and we believe that we would have the potential, on an annual basis if we can get the sites, to develop at a rate of $750 million-$1 billion per year.” “We will develop neighbourhood shopping centres, convenience stores, day care centres, large format retail – where we’ve been quite successful – then we’ll be in a position to buy existing assets that come on the market.”

  • More than 150 mums, dads and toddlers enjoyed the 'Discover Toddler Town' event last month, with musical instruments and soft play areas adding to the attraction of Allara Estate's Toddler Town for the day. Families gathered around the Buttercups Childcare marquee, where children could participate in sensory play activities. The park was also filled with bubbles as complimentary Allara branded bubble wands were distributed. Free coffee and sweet treats topped of the day, as families and children enjoyed the beautiful weather together.

  • Last month, our Clementine Estate's Nature & Nurture Day event was held at Frederick Lobb Park! The weather cooperated beautifully, and with the sun emerging and the rain subsiding just in time, the event attracted approximately 150 attendees and featured a diverse range of activities organised by the Friends of the Western Swamp Tortoise and Nature Play WA. There was also a walking tour, engaging participants with the historical significance of various parks within the estate. Children were delighted in constructing cubby houses and chasing the roaming butterflies that fluttered about. The Upper Swan District Ratepayers and Residents Association hosted a sausage sizzle, and attendees were treated to free ice creams and coffees ensuring that everyone departed satisfied!

  • Here at Satterley, we love Telethon7 weekend! At it's not just the Telethon Home, this year built by our building partners Home Group in our beautiful Seaside estate at Madora Bay. Even though it did achieve a record sales price this year! It's our people too, like Daniel Ow, Kyla Lynch and Nikita Shaw who donated their time volunteering at RAC Arena, taking hundreds of calls. It's our sales reps and managers who worked to get such a great sale price, with every cent going to Telethon. It's our favourite weekend of the year... bring on 2026!

  • Our CEO Nigel Satterley was part of a lively panel discussion at the Property Council of Australia's 2025 Property Congress yesterday, discussing lot sizes, the state of the market in Melbourne and Brisbane, what's driving Perth's residential property sector growing so strongly and how to address capacity constraints - among many other topics! The Congress continues into Day 2 today and we're looking forward to more insights from industry leaders at this critical time for the property sector in Australia. #PropertyCongress

What a brilliant night at the Urban Development Institute of Australia (WA) Awards for Excellence last week! 💫 Congratulations to all the winners and finalists for pushing the boundaries of what’s possible in our industry.   TBB Planning was proud to once again sponsor the Masterplanned Community Award — a category close to our hearts. Big shout-out to Ellenbrook by Satterley Property Group and DevelopmentWA for taking home the win. Ellenbrook isn’t just a place on the map — it’s now home to nearly 25,000 residents, many young families, with high amenity, open spaces, and infrastructure that connects people and community.   We were also excited to see OneOneFive Hamilton Hill take home the Affordable Housing Award. TBB is proud to have played a role in shaping and planning this outstanding community, which is setting new benchmarks for affordability and quality living in WA.   And of course, the UDIA Awards are always a great excuse to glam up — our team looked pretty sharp! Thanks to UDIA WA for hosting another fantastic evening. 👏   #UDIAWA #AwardsForExcellence #TBBPlanning #MasterplannedCommunities #Ellenbrook #AffordableHousing
