Qantas has a long history of being an aviation pioneer. Today we announced Adelaide will be home for our new Product Innovation Centre, creating more than 400 high-skilled technology roles in South Australia over the next three years. This new innovation hub will help accelerate how we use AI and technology to transform the customer experience for the millions who fly with us every year. We are also excited to be partnering with Adelaide University to build potential graduate recruitment pathways directly into the Centre. Thanks to the support of the South Australian Government, we look forward to opening its doors in March 2026.
You have a long road ahead, Australia’s most trusted airline has been trashed. The service is secondary, the food in cardboard boxes is boardering on uneatable. Qantas Club members get treated to ham and cheese toasted sandwiches if they choose to make them. FFS It’s a long road ahead. Good luck with Adelaide

Brilliant move, Qantas! ✈️🇦🇺 Adelaide’s new Product Innovation Centre — 400+ high-skill tech jobs, AI-driven customer wins, and direct pathways with Adelaide Uni — is pure aviation evolution. Proud to see SA leading the charge in smarter, faster flying, backed by the state government. March 2026 can’t come soon enough. #QantasInnovation #AdelaideTech #AIFuture #SouthAustralia

Fantastic news for South Australia and the aviation technology sector! It’s great to see Qantas investing in innovation and creating high-skilled tech roles right here in Adelaide. As someone with a background in aviation and technology, it’s exciting to witness this kind of forward-thinking initiative that blends both worlds and strengthens our state’s growing reputation as a hub for tech talent and innovation.
