Aviation and technology will always remain my passion and core strength, but attending #tlacSEA 2025 in Singapore reminded me how #DigitalTransformation , #AI, and #Sustainability are reshaping not just the skies, but every industry connected to it. Last week, I had the privilege of attending #tlacSEA 2025 in Singapore — an energizing few days filled with innovation, collaboration, and forward-thinking discussions shaping the future of Logistics and Supply Chain across the globe. From thought-provoking keynotes to hands-on demos and networking sessions, a few key insights stood out for me: 1- Human-Centered Digital Transformation: The true power of technology lies not in its complexity, but in how it improves human experiences. Successful transformation happens when innovation serves people — not the other way around. 2- AI as a Catalyst, Not a Replacement: Conversations around the use of AI highlighted its growing role in augmenting human potential — driving smarter decisions, optimizing operations, and enabling creativity at scale. The focus is shifting from automation to augmentation. 3- Sustainability as a Strategic Imperative: It was inspiring to see sustainability integrated into so many discussions — from green data centers to ethical AI. Digital progress and environmental responsibility are no longer separate goals; they must advance together. 4- SEA’s Digital Momentum: Southeast Asia continues to emerge as a powerhouse of innovation. The region is not merely adapting global trends — it’s setting them, fueled by agility, creativity, and a strong entrepreneurial spirit. 5- Collaboration Fuels Progress: tlcSEA reaffirmed that real transformation happens when industries, governments, and individuals come together with shared purpose and open minds. I left the event inspired by how leaders and innovators across the globe are building a future where technology, sustainability, and humanity coexist harmoniously. A huge thank-you to the organizers, speakers, and everyone who contributed to such a dynamic and insightful event. I head home with new ideas, meaningful connections, and a renewed drive to translate insights into action. #SupplyChain #CargoFlash #Logistics #Cargo #DigitalTransformation #AI #Sustainability #Innovation #Leadership #Technology #Aviation #tlacSEA

📢 A strong aviation sector is key for Europe’s economic #competitiveness, #sustainability, and #technologicalsovereignty – this was one main takeaway at our meeting with Commissioner for Startups, Research and Innovation Ekaterina Zaharieva in Brussels. 📌 Our Executive Director Axel Krein presented the Aviation Research and Innovation Strategy (#ARIS) to the Commissioner, together with Andreas Boschen (SESAR Joint Undertaking) and Arndt Schoenemann (DFS Deutsche Flugsicherung GmbH). 🔍 The discussions focused on ARIS – the strategy shows how the EU can help preserve the aviation sector’s technological lead – and on the Clean Aviation moonshot project which the Commission proposed in the context of the next EU long-term budget #MFF. The goal of this moonshot will be to support the development of “next generation of CO₂-free aircraft and automated air traffic management”. 💡The meeting highlighted the importance of close #cooperation between the #public and #private sector to boost aviation #research and #innovation, and the need to make deployment and market uptake a priority. 🤲 Clean Aviation would like to thank Commissioner Zaharieva for the invitation and is looking forward to continuing the exchange on topics that are of central importance to the European #aviation #community.

✈️🚁 Transforming Asia’s Transport Future – Reflections from Super Terminal Expo & Low Altitude Economy Forum 2025 🌏📦 I had the privilege of attending the Super Terminal Expo 2025 and the Low Altitude Economy Forum today on behalf of the Aviation Services Research Centre (ASRC). A dynamic convergence of visionaries, innovators, and policymakers shaping the future of intermodal transport and urban air mobility. 🔹 Super Terminal Expo 2025 showcased over 120 global brands and welcomed 6,000+ professionals from aviation, logistics, infrastructure, and technology sectors. With keynote speeches from leaders like Fred Lam (Airport Authority HK) and Mable Chan (Transport & Logistics Bureau), the event emphasized Hong Kong’s strategic role in regional connectivity, especially with the Three-Runway System and seamless intermodal services linking the Greater Bay Area. 🔹 The Low Altitude Economy Forum x AWN AAM Awards 2025 was a standout addition, spotlighting the rise of Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) and drone logistics. From vertiport concepts to regulatory sandboxes, Hong Kong is positioning itself as Asia’s epicenter for low-altitude innovation. The forum brought together OEMs, regulators, and investors to explore scalable infrastructure and transformative business models. 💡 Key Takeaways: • Intermodal transport is no longer a future concept, it’s happening now. • Low-altitude economy is unlocking new dimensions in logistics, emergency response, and urban planning. • Cross-sector collaboration is essential to build resilient, sustainable transport ecosystems. 👏 Kudos to Aviation Week Events, and all supporting organizations for curating such a forward-looking platform. Hong Kong is clearly stepping up as a global hub for transport innovation. #SuperTerminalExpo2025 #LowAltitudeEconomy #UrbanAirMobility #IntermodalTransport #HongKongInnovation #Aviation #SmartLogistics #FutureOfTransport
