Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport is preparing to welcome more than 4 million travelers between November 20 and December 2. Monday, December 1, is expected to be the busiest day, with more than 375,000 passengers passing through ATL. Passengers are encouraged to arrive at least 2.5 hours before domestic flights and 3 hours before international departures to ensure a smooth experience. Travelers can visit atl.com for real-time updates on parking availability, security wait times, and concession options. Before heading to the airport, officials recommend carefully inspecting luggage and reviewing TSA’s "What Can I Bring?" guidelines. Firearms and ammunition must be properly secured in checked baggage. To support a smoother journey, ATL has installed 18 new information totems throughout pre-security areas. Powered by real-time data from Xovis, these totems display updated wait times and help guide passengers through the terminal. During this busy travel period, guests are reminded to stay alert. If you see something suspicious, say something and call 911 in case of an emergency. Green-coated guest service representatives are also available throughout the terminal to assist with any questions. Thank you for choosing ATL to connect with friends and family this Thanksgiving season. TSA’s "What Can I Bring?" guidelines: https://lnkd.in/eB-u6Nuz

👏 Congratulations to General Manager Ricky Smith on being named one of Georgia Trend’s Georgia 500: Georgia’s Most Influential Leaders for 2025. Since joining Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport earlier this year, Mr. Smith has brought more than three decades of aviation leadership to the world’s busiest and most efficient airport. His strategic vision, commitment to operational excellence, and focus on growing opportunities for our community continue to move ATL forward—especially as we celebrate 100 years of service. Excited to see the evolution of new South Parking Deck here at ATL. We are finalizing all the remaining ORAT tasks and locked in on the project's completion. This deck, and surface lot, will provide thousands of state-of-the-art parking spaces within walking distance of the Domestic Terminal. Thanks to #ATLUAS for continuing to provide great shots of this, and all, our ATLNext sites.

We’re proud to share that ATL’s Sustainability Team received two honors at this year’s Airports Going Green® (AGG) Conference, recognizing our continued leadership in sustainable aviation. - Outstanding Sustainability Program - Outstanding Sustainability Infrastructure Development for the Concourse E Ramp 6 North Gate Expansion The Outstanding Sustainability Program award highlights ATL’s strong commitment to environmental responsibility. With goals including net-zero emissions by 2050, 100 percent clean energy by 2035, and 90 percent waste diversion by 2035, sustainability is embedded in the way we plan, build, and operate. The Concourse E Ramp 6 North Gate Expansion is a key example of that commitment. This 30,000-square-foot project features three fully electrified gates, advanced HVAC systems, eGSE infrastructure, and high-performance envelope design. The project is expected to reduce energy costs by 18 percent, reduce water use by 38 percent, and has diverted over 95 percent of construction waste from landfills. ATL’s Director of Sustainability, Dr. Quinta Nwanosike Warren, PE, PMP, ENV SP., presented at the AGG Conference and accepted the awards on November 4, alongside members of the Sustainability Team. These recognitions reflect ATL’s dedication to building a sustainable future for aviation through innovation, collaboration, and accountability. #ATL100 #SustainableATL #ATLSustainability #AGGAwards

It was a pleasure to participate in the recent Flint River Cleanup. The #ATLUAS Team was asked to help document the event for the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport Sustainability Team. We are proud supporters of Dr. Quinta Nwanosike Warren, PE, PMP, ENV SP and her team's efforts. We were able to create this short drone film to share some highlights from the event. Thank you to all of the sponsors and participants. Special thanks to my visual observer, Steven Boyd.
