‘Tis the season of giving! As a global airline, we have a responsibility to connect with the communities where our employees live, work and serve. Recently, more than 100 Delta employees and local community volunteers came together to give back and build Delta’s 46th KABOOM! playground at Grant Park Conservancy, the oldest park in Atlanta. https://lnkd.in/eQa-d6dN

Earlier this year, Delta and Junior Achievement Africa hosted nearly 60 young African future female leaders in Accra, Ghana for the Delta Air Lines Girls LEAD! Camp, a professional and personal development event. Delta and Junior Achievement Africa believe that education is a vehicle for equity. Exposing global youth to various career possibilities has great power to impact their futures for the better. “Partnering with JA Africa for the Girls LEAD! initiative demonstrates Delta’s devotion to opening doors for the next generation of female leaders to help them turn their potential into lasting impact. We are honored to invest in them by providing the tools and confidence they need to excel in leadership and business,” Ed Bastian, CEO of Delta Air Lines. This partnership between Delta Air Lines and JA Africa further exemplifies our dedication to invest in the communities where we live, work and serve. We are excited to share the journey of these amazing young women in the Award-winning documentary Akwaaba: Oceans Between, Dreams Beyond, now live onboard Delta flights.

The leadership and resilience our veterans display inspires us both in and out of uniform. One of the many ways we aim to express our gratitude is through partnerships with Fisher House Foundation and Luke's Wings. For the 11th year, Delta will match donations up to an aggregate total of 10 million miles donated to these two organizations through SkyWish, the charitable arm of the SkyMiles Program. Learn more about SkyWish and how to donate miles to these two SkyWish partners at https://lnkd.in/eCWatPp9.
