As part of this landmark project, British Airways are proud naming rights partner of two new venues, helping shape the future of live entertainment in the UK. British Airways ARC is a cutting-edge 3,800-capacity entertainment venue, opening in 2026 and the British Airways Theatre is a 1,575-seat venue, the largest new permanent theatre built in London in almost 50 years, opening in 2027. Members of the British Airways Club will also enjoy exclusive benefits, including a dedicated ticket allowance for shows at British Airways ARC, plus the opportunity to collect Avios when purchasing food and drink at select venues across Olympia. Last week British Airways proudly celebrated 20 years of connecting Bengaluru and London, marking two decades of connecting India’s digital capital and the UK 🌎 To honour the occasion we operated a special anniversary flight from London Heathrow to Bengaluru, served entirely by Indian cabin crew, some of which are also celebrating 20 years of service. Since launching flights to Bengaluru in 2005, we now operate 56 direct weekly flights across five major cities in India.

On Armistice Day, we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served. Following a performance from Soldiers of Swing at Heathrow Terminal 5 on London Poppy Day, today our Chairman and CEO, Sean Doyle, laid a wreath outside our head office in remembrance of those who gave their lives in service to this country. This morning, International Airlines Group (IAG) announced its Q3 2025 financial results. At British Airways, we delivered an operating profit of £812m at an operating margin of 20.2%, flying 1.7% more than 2024 levels, demonstrating another robust quarter of both operational and financial performance.* This summer we delivered our best Q3 punctuality performance across our network since Q3 2017, despite external challenges outside of our control. Investing in new technology for our operation has been part of our £7bn transformation programme and has helped deliver these strong results as we continue to build a better BA. Thanks to the dedication of our teams and the continued momentum of our transformation programme, and the 11.1m mainline customers we’ve flown so far this year have experienced significant improvements in operational performance and resilience. This, along with our investment in the customer experience, is driving an uplift in customer satisfaction. Free and lightning-fast Wi-fi coming on board. As part of our £7bn transformation programme, we’re partnering with Starlink to provide all of our customers with free, fast and reliable Wi-Fi on both our long-haul and short-haul aircraft.
