Business class without a lie-flat bed? 😳 Our Aviation Director Enrique Perrella flew Icelandair’s brand-new A321LR on its inaugural Miami–Reykjavik route. ✈️🇮🇸 From a Miami-meets-Reykjavik gate celebration to surprisingly spacious recliners, next-gen 4K IFE, and one of the quietest rides over the ocean, this narrowbody proves comfort can coexist with constraint. It’s not lie-flat, but with great service, solid catering, and a sleek new cabin, Icelandair’s A321LR delivers a smart, modern take on transatlantic business travel. Full review in the video - would you fly long-haul on a narrowbody? 👉 https://lnkd.in/eicZdKny Enrique Perrella | Bogi Bogason | Michael Raucheisen | Greg Chin | Business Traveler

The story behind our Business Traveller win 🚄💡Eurostar One of my favourite parts of this award is the story behind it. Picture this: it’s 2024, and we’re sat at the Business Traveller Awards as invitees — soaking up the atmosphere, applauding the great and the good of business travel. At our table, Luka Drulovic, myself and Marty Ruczynska found ourselves chatting with Hannah Brandler,Tamsin Cocks and Laura Baker about something we’d all noticed: with the rise of rail for business travellers — and the million and one reasons they love it — wasn’t it time for rail to have its own moment on that stage? 💡 We joked, we nudged, we half-seriously, half–cheekily said: “You know what would be amazing? A Business Traveller Rail Award." A proper celebration of an industry that’s reshaping how people travel for work — sustainably, productively, comfortably. 🌍🚆 The next day we followed this up with an email. Fast-forward to this year. An email hits our inbox. 📩 They were introducing a brand new European Rail Award. And Eurostar had been nominated. 🎉 Cue: instant excitement, a little disbelief, and a lot of “did we… accidentally help make this happen?!” (Manifesting!) Unfortunately, the awards fell on the day of my wedding this year (thank you Hannah)💍 — so Luka and I had quite literally the best excuse in the world not to attend. But our Director Nicolas went instead, and the next morning we woke up to the news: We’d won. 🏆✨ It felt like the most perfect full-circle moment — a reminder that when you see something missing, when you spot a gap, an idea, a spark… say it out loud. Raise it. Plant the seed. Because you never know who’s listening or what it might grow into. 🌱 Here’s to continuing to shine a spotlight on just how incredible international rail is — and to everyone who helped bring this award (and this win!) to life. 🚄💛 🔗 Eurostar crowned Best Rail Network in Europe: https://lnkd.in/euWSAMTV Eurostar #BusinessAwards #TrainTravel #SpeakUp #PR
