British Airways will be the naming rights partner of our headline venues: ✨ British Airways ARC: a state-of-the-art 3,800-capacity live music and events venue operated by AEG Presents UK, opening in 2026. ✨ The British Airways Theatre: a 1,575-seat, world-class theatre operated by Trafalgar Entertainment and The Shubert Organization, opening in 2027. As part of this partnership, British Airways Club members will be able to access a ringfenced allocation of tickets at every British Airways ARC show. British Airways customers will also be able to choose from tickets offering exclusive access to the airline’s VIP lounge, the British Airways Wing, and will be able to earn Avios at select venues across the destination. We are delighted to announce the appointment of Michael Volkert as CEO of OlympiaUK, ahead of the phased opening of our new public venues starting next year. Michael brings over two decades of leadership experience across major global destinations, spanning some of the world’s most recognised integrated resorts and hospitality destinations, from Las Vegas and Macau to Singapore and Melbourne. At Olympia, Michael will lead the estate’s team and oversee the destination as it transitions from development to live operations, working closely with all our venue operators across the site. His appointment marks a significant milestone, as Olympia evolves from heritage event space into London’s newest entertainment destination. Gavin Neilan, Founding Partner of DFI, investment advisors to Olympia, said: “Michael brings exactly the kind of experience and vision we’re seeking to take Olympia into its next chapter. 📢 We're delighted to announce that, thanks to a new multi-million-pound agreement with Transport for London, London Overground services to Kensington (Olympia) on the Clapham Junction branch of the Mildmay line will increase by 16 trains a day across peak times from next year, supporting our £1.3bn transformation. 🚂 The new services will cover the length of the line in both directions, boosting passenger capacity by almost 20% in the morning peak period and 28% in the afternoon peak period. The enhanced timetable will come into effect from May 2026.
