The Singapore Aviation Academy, in collaboration with the United Nations Institute for Training and Research (UNITAR), successfully concluded the inaugural 𝐆𝐥𝐨𝐛𝐚𝐥 𝐓𝐫𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐦𝐞 𝐨𝐧 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐄𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐨𝐦𝐢𝐜 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 – 𝐅𝐮𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞-𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐟𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐀𝐢𝐫𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭 𝐃𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐩𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 on 22–23 October 2025. The two-day programme brought together 68 aviation professionals from 12 countries, uniting global leaders to explore how airports can be powerful engines for economic growth, innovation, and sustainability. Through expert-led sessions featuring speakers from Civil Aviation Authority of Singapore, Changi Airport Group, Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport, Incheon International Airport, and Georgia Institute of Technology, participants examined critical topics such as airport planning, infrastructure renewal, digital transformation, and cyber resilience. Engaging discussions and case studies showcased how airports of all sizes can transform to meet future demands and foster regional prosperity. A highlight of the programme was the high-level closing panel on Infrastructure and Digital Transformation, where participants exchanged experiences and insights on balancing growth, innovation, and sustainability in an evolving aviation landscape. Attending the 2025 MSV International Industrial Fair was an opportunity for us to help strengthen collaboration between Czech and U.S. businesses, opening new pathways for innovation, partnership, and shared growth. With collaboration top of mind, representatives from the Czech ecosystem and our delegation from the state of Georgia, we explored opportunities to connect companies, research institutions, and the public sector — exchanging best practices and building a stronger foundation for transatlantic cooperation. A special thank-you to the Czech Business Incubator Atlanta team and the Georgia delegation for bringing our ecosystems together and bridging innovation across the Atlantic.
