Today at Coles Group, we’re proud to recognise International Men’s Day, a day that recognises men’s positive contributions to our communities, their role in advancing gender equity, and the importance of men's mental health and wellbeing. Each year, International Men’s Day aligns with our Movember campaign, led by ambassador Martin Smithson, who’s helping drive open conversations and connection through fundraising, storytelling and events. Throughout November, Coles will host a range of activities including a mental health panel, SpeakEasy workshops, and a fundraising pub trivia night, all designed to bring people together and support men’s health. These initiatives reflect our commitment to gender equity, recognising that progress happens when we value the contributions of all genders. At Coles Group, we all have a role to play in creating a workplace where everyone feels equal, supported and included. #ProudlyColes #InternationalMensDay #Movember Martin Smithson | Wes Travers | Claire Lauber | Kevin Gunn | Libby Connell | Nicole Zanette

The next generation of Aussies are thinking big and planting bold ideas, with Coles Group and Planet Ark awarding 20 schools across the country a share in $100,000 to turn their sustainability projects into a reality this National Recycling Week. Saltwater P-9 College in Melbourne’s western suburb of Point Cook will use its $5,000 grant to launch a student-led initiative to create eco-bricks – reusable building materials developed from plastic waste. Coles Chief Commercial and Sustainability Officer Anna Croft said the students’ bright ideas prove a more sustainable future begins in the classroom. “The creativity and drive of this year’s competition entrants is inspiring. Our young Australians are not only learning about sustainability but finding clever, practical ways to care for their local environments,” she said. Planet Ark’s National Recycling Week runs until 16 November and Coles is proud to be the major sponsor for a fourth consecutive year. #NationalRecyclingWeek Anna Croft | Debra Galle | Brooke Donnelly | Caitlyn Brooksbank | Tillie Priestley | Iman Osman | Scott Nicholson | Rebecca Gilling | Adam Culley | Alex Adda | Hailey Durham

Coles in partnership with Toll Group is proud to welcome two new electric prime movers to our grocery delivery network in Western Australia. The Volvo FM battery electric prime movers will replace conventional diesel-powered trucks, saving approximately 100 tonnes of CO2 emissions per vehicle annually and are expected to complete up to 52 deliveries to Coles stores across Perth each week. Ian Kitching, State Transport Manager at Coles, said “This partnership marks a significant milestone in our ongoing efforts to reduce emissions associated with our transportation network. Welcoming our first electric heavy vehicles to our fleet in Perth is more than just a technological upgrade, it’s a long-term investment in developing a more sustainable supply chain.” #ProudlyColes Matt Swindells | Tony O'Toole | Jo Hammond | David Clark | Ian Kitching | Nick Vrckovski | Thomas Knudsen | Michael Freestone | Wayne Schoenauer | Jorge Moreira | Vaughan Irving

We’re proud to share the incredible impact of our second annual Go Red for Redkite campaign which raised an outstanding $560K to support families facing childhood cancer. This achievement was made possible through the generosity of our supplier partners—Bickford's Australia, Carman's Kitchen, Mountain Blue , Tip Top Bakeries and Bega Group Australia —who donated to Redkite from sales on selected products. Their contributions complemented the ongoing support from Coles Brand Bread, which carries a year-round 5c donation to Redkite. Our team members also went above and beyond in their fundraising efforts with $55K raised - doubling last year’s total. Highlights include almost $6K raised by top fundraising store Winmalee in NSW, and Region Q201 in Far North Queensland which raised more than $20K through in-store efforts, a trivia night, and the second annual Cairns Walk for Redkite. A special shout-out to Port Douglas TM Anna, who cut off her braids to raise funds and awareness for the charity. This was a true team effort. Thank you to everyone who contributed—you’ve helped bring hope and support to families when they need it most. Jace Armstrong | Monique Keighery | Anna Croft | Rory McDonald

This month, Coles is getting behind Movember again to help change the face of men’s health, by tackling Mental health and suicide prevention, prostate cancer and testicular cancer. This morning, Coles team members were joined by Olympic medallist, Reality TV extraordinaire and Movember ambassador Harry Garside to launch the campaign. Harry, who was more than happy to jump in the barber’s chair for the occasion, said “Movember is more than moustaches - it’s about starting conversations and making men's health awareness part of our everyday lives. Coles is making it easy for Aussies to back the movement simply by picking up a men’s self-care product, a Movember biscuit from the bakery or any of the other participating products.” Harry was supported in the chair by Coles Vic/Tas State Manager, Chris McKellar and Executive General Manager - Supermarket Operations, Martin Smithson, who are also growing Mo’s for the month. Coles Group is the major partner of Movember and has raised more than $6m for the charity since 2010 through customer donations, team member fundraising, and donations from the sales of participating products, including all men’s personal care products.
