Carrie Foote spoke about Telehealth and Virtual Care in rural areas. Heather and Carrie spoke about the need for connectivity and devices and how to use them for daily living. Carrie is excited about the growth in Broadband connectivity and the navigator program and the benefits to Virtual Care especially in rural areas where folks are far away from critical and preventive care. It is exciting to see how libraries -trusted agencies - are helping the communities navigate the e-resources in education, health, business and more to bridege the digital divide.

Advancing equity and access in one of the most complex health systems is no small feat; NYC Health + Hospitals, in partnership with eVisit, is a case study in the power of access to telehealth.  This collaboration demonstrates how telehealth provides more equitable healthcare at scale.
