Care at home is evolving. It’s no longer just in-person or just tech, it’s both. Hybrid care is what happens when great people and smart systems work together. It's when caregivers can focus on what matters most because the tech’s got their back. That’s exactly why at Momentum Healthcare & Technology Consulting, we help vendors and agencies make adoption seamless, integrating solutions into real workflows, so tech actually gets used and doesn’t just sit in the toolbox. Because sustainable care needs both: human touch + smart adoption. Big thanks to McKnight's Home Care for hosting a meaningful conversation with Laurie Orlov, Peter Ross, Liza Berger, and Carlo Perez on what it really takes to build care systems that last. #McKnightsSeniorLiving #McKnightsLongTermCareNews #HybridCare #HomeCare #HealthcareInnovation #TechAdoption #Momentum

Making Virtual Care more Sustainable Virtual care isn’t just a technology or a pandemic-era solution — it’s the foundation of modern healthcare delivery. With 2 out of 3 patients expecting digital options, organizations must adapt. But sustainability requires more than simply offering video visits. It demands focus on three critical areas: 1️⃣ Strategic Sustainability: Attract patients and clinicians, expand reach, and boost engagement. 2️⃣ Clinical Sustainability: Optimize workflows, provide training, and align clinicians behind virtual care. 3️⃣ Financial Sustainability: Leverage reimbursement structures and prepare for value-based models. 🌟 The big takeaway? Virtual care is here to stay — but making it work long-term requires intention, planning, and commitment. 📖 Read the full #TelehealthTuesday article to learn how to build a sustainable virtual care program: https://lnkd.in/gBQzgD_N #TelehealthTuesday #Telehealth #DigitalHealth #HealthcareLeadership

Why do so few innovative devices make it from trials into routine care? Great question! #LinkedInNewsUK Regulation. Cost. Training. Culture. Each one can be a roadblock between innovation and impact. But it’s also about accessibility, relevance, and trust — ensuring new technologies fit real-world settings, meet genuine needs, and earn confidence from clinicians and patients alike. We need stronger bottom-up approaches — powered by innovators and community champions who understand what truly matters on the ground. When innovation grows from lived experience and collaboration, it doesn’t just disrupt — it transforms. That’s how we turn potential into progress. #MedTech #HealthcareInnovation #DigitalHealth #ClinicalTrials #HealthSystems #Innovation

Sometimes, the biggest impact doesn’t come from flashy ideas or solutions, but from understanding the complicated stuff. In healthcare, I’ve seen how smart design, like personalized help that fits into everyday life, can quietly change results. It’s all about really listening to what people need and then making tools that help patients and caregivers in ways that feel natural and human. When technology respects the way care works and the people involved, it becomes a bridge, not a barrier. This way of thinking influences how I see creating solutions: not as things to sell, but as friends on the path to better health. The most important progress usually happens in the areas where innovation meets empathy. #HealthcareInnovation #PatientCenteredCare #SmartHealthcare #HumanTouchInTech #DesignForHealth #BridgingCare #EverydayHealthSolutions

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘁𝗵𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗲 doesn’t always reach everyone equally. 𝗟𝗮𝗿𝗴𝗲 𝗵𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗿𝗽𝗿𝗶𝘀𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝘁𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝘀 often get first access to the latest tools, pilots, and platforms, while 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗱-𝘀𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗱 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀 are left to make do with outdated systems or manual workarounds. And it’s not because these practices don’t want to innovate. It’s because most technologies were never built with their scale in mind. That’s where I see a real shift happening with models like 𝗽𝗮𝘆-𝗽𝗲𝗿-𝘂𝘀𝗲 in healthcare tech, especially in areas like 𝗮𝗺𝗯𝗶𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘀𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗻𝗴. Instead of long-term commitments or costly integrations, these practices can now 𝘂𝘀𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝘆 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗶𝘁, at 𝗮 𝘀𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗳𝗶𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸𝗹𝗼𝗮𝗱. For many clinics, that flexibility can mean the difference between staying overwhelmed by documentation or freeing up enough time to see more patients without burning out. It’s also a 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝗲 𝘀𝘂𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗶𝗻𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗮𝘆 for smaller practices to 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗿𝗲𝘁𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗶𝗿 𝗯𝘂𝗱𝗴𝗲𝘁𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻. What’s interesting is that this model doesn’t just benefit smaller practices - it’s pushing the entire industry to think more about accessibility, not just advancement. We, at Calarity Inc.. think this way... But I’m curious to hear your perspective on this as well. 𝗗𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗸 𝗳𝗹𝗲𝘅𝗶𝗯𝗶𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗹 𝗸𝗲𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗲𝗰𝗵 𝗮𝗱𝗼𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗺𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝗿 𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗲𝘀? #innovation #healthcare #digitalhealth #Calarity #ambientscribing

Successful UM transformation isn’t just about technology. I've personally witnessed health plans find success in reclaiming UM functions when they combine automation with empathy and data with staff support. In her new article, Heidi Nielsen, Senior Director of Intelligent Utilization Management at Availity, shares why hybrid models allow teams to focus on what they do best while technology handles the rest. 🔗 https://lnkd.in/eKxwVsni #Healthcare #UM #Availity #HealthPlan #Innovation #ChangeManagement
