S. Interview with a Custodian
Gene is a sanitary supervisor at Jurupa Hills High School who was interviewed by Shellsea for a TV production class. Shellsea chose to interview Gene because, as a custodial worker, she felt his hard work was overlooked and custodial workers do not receive enough recognition. Shellsea asked Gene questions about his favorite kind of student, how he feels about messy kids, if he gets enough recognition from other staff members, if he is close with security workers, and if he is social with students.
