As part of our path to certification, we’ve been collaborating closely with the FAA and are proud to share that we recently hosted FAA Deputy Administrator Chris Rocheleau onsite to see Skyryse One™ and our Black Hawk with SkyOS™.    The Deputy Administrator and the entire Federal Aviation Administration team, conveyed their commitment and support of our mission at Skyryse. We are grateful for their support and looking forward to completing SkyOS certification to bring a new level of safety to flying as we work to reduce general aviation accidents and fatalities.

  • Take a peek into what it’s like to fly with Skylar™, our AI flight assistant integrated into SkyOS™. From listening to and interpreting ATC, to tracking aircraft in crowded airspace, to monitoring weather and optimizing routes, Skylar acts as a true assistant in the cockpit. Deterministic expert AI systems – like SkyOS – are designed for predictability and consistency, generating the same output for the same input, every single time. As a LLM layered on top of SkyOS, Skylar leverages AI as an orchestrator of trusted data and systems, improving reliability, safety, and empowering pilot decision-making. As it’s deployed across diverse missions, including military, emergency medical services, and civilian operations, Skylar continually learns and improves, refining its capabilities with every flight. Founder & CEO at Skyryse | Bringing safety and automation to every aircraft

I’ve been passionate about technology and flying machines all my life, and AI is a powerful tool, but human oversight is essential to achieving the safest outcomes in flight. That’s why we created Skylar™, a universal AI flight assistant designed to improve flight safety and reduce pilot workload. The future of aviation centers on human-machine interface solutions – technology that blends the best of human decision-making with automation to make flying simpler and safer. From setting mission objectives to assessing real-time risks, human involvement in decision-making is critical. 👇Here’s our point of view on AI at Skyrysehttps://lnkd.in/gKcWvZch

  • This Veterans Day, we honor all who have served our nation. At Skyryse, many of our teammates are veterans whose discipline, leadership, and passion for aviation continue to propel our industry forward. Their experience reminds us that every system we build, and every problem we solve, supports those serving today and in the future. Our team’s been hard at work preparing our Black Hawk for its first flight with SkyOS, the world’s first universal operating system for flight. We’re proud to share that our Black Hawk has officially arrived at our flight test facilities and that SkyOS has successfully been installed. Stay tuned for more in the coming weeks.

  • SkyOS™ is designed for everyone and for every aircraft. To realize that universal vision, we took on the hardest challenge first – bringing simplified flight controls to helicopters.  Helicopters are both inherently unstable and more complicated to fly, and we knew that if we could make automation technology for helicopters, we could scale across all kinds of aircraft. As an integrated hardware and software solution, SkyOS is the world’s first operating system for flight, replacing conventional, complex mechanical flight controls in both helicopters and airplanes to support safe operations in all situations, including emergencies. Our Founder and CEO Mark Groden recently joined Revolution.Aero to share why our breakthroughs on Skyryse One™, are directly transferable to the entire aviation industry. • At our flight test facilities, we’re flying with SkyOS™ often three times a day. Behind every flight is a world-class team of engineers, pilots, and mechanics paving the path toward simpler, safer flight for all, by making progress through FAA For-Credit testing on Skyryse One™. Our team's consistent and rigorous testing approach allows us to validate our system performance while also achieving several first-ever milestones in the aviation industry, including the first automated takeoff and landing at the swipe of a finger, as well as a stable, fully automated hover and the world’s first automated engine-out landing. To date, we’ve completed: - 2,800+ crewed test flights with SkyOS  - 200+ automated engine-out landings (autorotations)   - 10,000+ simulated flight hours including purposefully injected anomalies, for added stress testing with SkyOS  - 600+ automated pickups - 600+ automated setdowns Ready to join our mission? We’re hiring! Check out open roles here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gt4dbv9W

  • Every year, the Skyryse Internship Program brings together exceptional students across engineering disciplines to take on real-world challenges in aviation technology. We’re proud to offer an experience that not only fosters multidisciplinary learning but also provides leadership opportunities. Every intern has an impact, and many choose to keep building with us even after the summer ends. Their success speaks for itself: With 77% converting to full-time roles, it’s clear that our internship program is where the next generation of aviation technology talent takes flight. ✈️ Hear from some of our teammates who first started their careers as interns at Skyryse. Ready to join the team? Our 2026 Summer Internship applications are officially open. Learn more here 👉 https://lnkd.in/gpFd8tW7

It’s a little (very) unnerving to realize that general aviation has barely evolved since the 1940s.   When powered flight began in 1903 — right as the industrial economy was taking off — innovation was relentless.   But for decades, we’ve flown with the same:   1 / Mechanical linkages 2 / Fragmented analog instruments 3 / High-workload manual controls   To this day, flying helicopters requires constantly using both hands and feet, and small planes are using the same complicated analog controls from the 1940s. These antiquated mechanics have serious consequences.   It’s not hard to see why it feels like in-air accidents feel so common.   Skyryse (Per Aspera Founding Sponsor 🇺🇸💥🙌) is breaking this stagnation and bringing flight controls into a modern, safer, simpler era.   Their SkyOS technology transforms flight with a universal operating system — an aircraft-agnostic solution that is certifiable and scalable.   It directly tackles the industry’s biggest pain points:   1 / Pilot error caused by outdated technology (which causes the majority of accidents and fatal incidents in aviation) 2 / Pilot shortages 3 / The slow crawl toward industry autonomy…   In traditional systems, pilots juggle cyclic, collective, pedals, throttle, and a sea of gauges — balancing precision to avoid conditions like vortex ring state or loss of control.   SkyOS simplifies all that into two touchscreens and one four-axis control stick.   And now, with the recently announced Skylar, the AI flight assistant integrated into SkyOS, Skyryse is pushing the cockpit fully into the modern era.   But this isn’t just about “simpler flying”.   This is *a paradigm shift* in how we build for flight – from complexity to simplicity.   I’ve said it before, will say it again:   I cannot wait for a Skyryse future 🙌🙌🙌!!!   👇 Check out the Skyryse × Per Aspera teardown below.

NBAA-BACE 2025 is in the books! ✈️ Last week, we opened the doors to a brand new SkyOS™ application for airplanes – bringing visitors through a custom experience that included a ride in our flight simulator and a deeper look into our hardware, including SkyOS’ triply redundant flight control computers, four-axis control stick, motor control assembly and more. Our Founder and CEO Mark Groden also took the stage to discuss how SkyOS is helping revolutionize aviation safety and capability. Industry conversations are aligning around what we knew all along – that simplified vehicle operations like SkyOS have the power to make flying more accessible, empowering both piloted and unpiloted flight across every segment of aviation.
