Chief Executive Officer at UnitedHealthcare Employer & Individual

It was a pleasure to attend the 23rd Annual Health Care Conference at Harvard Business School last weekend. I had the opportunity to join a panel discussion alongside Alexandra Maddison (Google), Jeffrey Ries (Morgan Health), Aidan Dewar (Nourish), and Sukanya Soderland (Oliver Wyman) to talk about the future of innovation in the employer-payer space. I shared how UnitedHealthcare is driving innovation by leveraging advanced technology and AI to reduce administrative burden for providers and simplify experiences for consumers. The responsible use of AI has the power to improve the health care system for everyone. There are already 1,000+ AI use cases across UnitedHealth Group, including our new Smart Choice provider search capability. Early results show Smart Choice saves members who use it an average of $123 per provider visit, and that’s just one example of our advanced technology in action. Thank you to the HBS Health Care Club for hosting such a great conference!

This past weekend, our CEO Aidan Dewar joined Daniel Kueter (CEO of Employer & Individual at UnitedHealthcare), Alexandra Maddison (Senior Director of Global Benefits & Mobility at Google), Jeffrey Ries (Partner at Morgan Health Ventures - JPMorganChase), and Sukanya Soderland (Partner at Oliver Wyman - formerly Chief Strategy Officer at Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts) at the 23rd Annual Harvard Business School Healthcare Conference to discuss the future of employer and payer innovation — and why nutrition-first cardiometabolic care is a critical lever in fixing our healthcare system. At Nourish, we’re building that future with a national, nutrition-first care model that improves outcomes, lowers costs, and makes high-quality nutrition care accessible at scale.

🥳 Celebrating 3 Months of Full-Time Joy at Nourish! I blinked, and suddenly three months have passed since I jumped into my full-time role as a Registered Dietitian at Nourish—and honestly, I couldn't be happier. I spent years working in a traditional environment where the high administrative burden and outdated processes often felt like they were working against my clients' success, not for it. Sound familiar to any other RDs out there? 😔 Now, I can say without a doubt that the Nourish approach is truly client-centered. Here’s why I know my clients are set up to win and why I love this environment: Real Behavior Change Requires Real Time: We have the freedom to offer weekly 55-minute sessions. This frequent, in-depth touchpoint is absolutely critical for building rapport and seeing sustained behavior change, which is what being a dietitian is all about! Seamless Tech, Stress-Free Caseload: The tech platform here is phenomenal. It drastically reduces administrative burden, giving me back the time and mental energy I need to focus entirely on client care. The Best Support System: I have to give a shout-out to my CQM for providing such supportive & constructive feedback. Plus, the incredible network of dietitians via our Slack community means immediate support, shared wisdom, and zero feelings of isolation. I'm incredibly proud to have reached 250+ 5🌟 reviews just three months in! That metric is the ultimate proof that this clinical model works for both me and my clients. If you’re an RD in my network who has questions about making the switch to a client-first practice model like Nourish, please feel free to send me a DM! I’m happy to connect and share my experience. #RegisteredDietitian #Dietetics #NutritionJobs #CareerGrowth #ClientCenteredCare #Nourish

When I started as a part-time RD for Nourish, little did I know in a span of 8 months it was going to be my full-time job, taking me out of the traditional RD role in athletics. I cannot express enough what it finally meant to be valued, supported, and appreciated through not only patients, but from this company. This isn’t a position where you get done with the day and rethink your job choice, or even career. Nourish allows you as the practitioner to strengthen your skill set and be **compensated for what you and your knowledge is worth**, while making true change in people’s lives. Nourish is currently hiring more RD’s to join (part-time and full-time), message me with any questions and I can refer you! https://lnkd.in/gWr_G2CC

Clinician Executive | Psychologist | Advisor

🎙️ Really enjoyed spending time with Dr. Reena Pande on her Oxeon Leadership Rounds podcast, digging into my journey in clinical leadership — from my early days as a psychologist to clinical leadership roles at Ginger, Headspace, Included Health, and now at Nourish. We had a candid conversation about what it’s like to move from clinical care into operations, how to scale teams without losing connection to mission, the role of data and outcomes in driving clinical excellence, and why intentionality continues to be my north star as a leader. We also talked about my personal “why” for joining Nourish and how my own experiences with food and health have shaped my belief in the power of personalized nutrition care. If you’re interested in how clinicians grow into leadership and how we can build systems that truly support both patients and providers, I think you’ll enjoy this one. Thanks for the opportunity, Reena! 🎧 Listen here: Spotify: https://bit.ly/4hWPtCr  Apple: https://bit.ly/4qXa0ut  YouTube:  https://bit.ly/3XqFQ5j
