Over the past few weeks, our KOOKAÏ teams across Australia and New Zealand came together for our annual Summer Style Nights — an exclusive preview event celebrating the launch of our new season collection.   Each evening was filled with energy, connection and celebration as our retail teams gathered to experience the range before the official campaign launch.   Through a beautiful runway show, the collection came to life — capturing the spirit of summer and the creativity behind each design. Our Design, Buying and Branding teams shared the inspiration and story behind the pieces, giving everyone a glimpse into the journey from concept to creation.   This carefully curated event gives our teams the opportunity to take inspiration back to boutiques — ready to share the stories, creativity and excitement of our new collection with our customers.   Thank you to everyone who helped bring these nights together and to all our retail team members who joined in — your passion and energy made each event truly special.   We can’t wait to share the new collection with you in stores and online very soon!

Elevate Leadership. Elevate Performance. Elevate Connection. Elevate KOOKAÏ. Our most inspiring KOOKAÏ Retail Leader’s Conference yet! This week we brought together our State and Store Managers from across Australia and New Zealand for an incredible three days of celebration and connection.    Our conference featured an empowering deep dive into the wins from last year, future strategy and a variety of training and development sessions that focused on elevating people, performance and the customer experience. A special highlight was hearing from our founder, Rob Cromb, who reminded us of the purpose and passion that drive KOOKAI forward and who’s vision continues to inspire everything we do. The team got an exclusive look at our new Spring collection in an intimate style showcase hosted by our Creative Director, Head of Design and Head of Merchandise and capped off three days of learning with a glamorous celebration dinner where we recognised outstanding store and state performance across multiple categories.   The final day concluded at our Retail Support Centre, offering Managers a chance to connect directly with their departments of interest and help support our Katalyst foundation with putting together care packages for underprivileged women in Fiji. Fashion goes beyond clothes - it's about community, creativity and a shared purpose. We left feeling inspired, united and ready to elevate everything we do!

Bringing Clean Water to Communities in the Bua Province. Last week, 530 Clean Water Kits from the Katalyst Foundation were distributed across 14 villages in Vanua Levu, Fiji. Each kit includes a ceramic filter that removes harmful contaminants—empowering families with access to safe, clean drinking water. KOOKAÏ is proud to support this mission and help create meaningful, lasting impact. Over the past few weeks, our incredible leaders across the nation came together for their quarterly Store Manager meetings.    These sessions are a wonderful way to align our vision for the future and to inspire each other as leaders on the shop floor.    Our Managers spend time reviewing year-to-date performance, setting end-of-financial-year goals and analysing retail KPI’s—it was great to see our teams united as we look ahead to a very exciting second half of the year.    A huge thank you to our store leadership team for your ongoing passion and commitment.    Passion drives momentum. We're ready for what’s next!

Last week we hosted our 2025 Retail Leaders Conference – Accelerate. Our Retail Leaders joined us from across Australia and New Zealand in Melbourne, to enjoy four action packed days to facilitate and celebrate their development. Set at the stunning hotel - Melbourne Place, the conference provided the perfect environment for learning and collaboration. At the heart of this conference was acceleration—accelerating leadership, business impact, and personal development. Through specialised workshops across Product, Business Enablement, Design, Branding, and People Growth, our team gained invaluable insights to drive momentum in their stores and regions. A highlight was our State Manager Masterclasses, where leaders shared the strategies that have resulted their regions to exceed key goals. This peer-led learning reinforced the power of collaboration and the ripple effect of high-performance leadership. Beyond the sessions, our team connected over inspiring experiences, including  a morning walk through the Royal Botanical Gardens, an afternoon at the Yayoi Kusama exhibition at the NGV, followed by a special dinner at Hazel with our KOOKAI owners—an opportunity to reflect and celebrate. The last day of conference particularly meaningful, complimented by International Women’s Day. We had the privilege of sitting down with the Katalyst team, deepening our understanding of the incredible impact being made in Fiji. We were honoured to hear from Ite (Katalyst Foundation Program Manager, Fiji) and Dimere (OH&S Manager, Fiji), who shared their first-hand experiences. To close conference our team contributed to a meaningful initiative—packing school bags with essential supplies for students in Bua Province, Fiji. This hands-on effort reinforced the positive impact we can make beyond our business, enabling students to succeed in their education. This year’s conference was a reminder of the strength of our retail leadership community. The energy, ideas, and collaboration we shared will continue to drive us forward in the year ahead. 💙
