Passion fuels a social enterprise, but a viable business model keeps it running. This was a central theme at the recent ASEAN SEDP 4.0 workshop. We're here to do good, but as we reflected, doing good sustainably means also being good at business. The numbers must make sense! The idea of building an organization that lasts—one that thrives on professionalism, not just passion—is a lesson that applies to a business, a non-profit, and our own personal finances. We have been a bit quiet online - there was just so much going on in the "real" world! The entrepreneurial journey can feel lonely and it's easy to get lost working in the business. ✨ 🎉 We are incredibly excited and grateful to be one of the winners of the ASEAN Social Enterprise Development Programme (SEDP) 4.0 Demo Day! This grant will enable us to deliver a high-impact project in Singapore focused on the gender wealth gap. Organized by ASEAN Foundation in partnership with Instellar Impact, ASEAN SEDP 4.0 supports young changemakers across ASEAN to scale their impact. Our project aims to empower women for action towards financial independence , helping them to build wealth that is often hindered by factors like earning less or time spent on caregiving duties. We will be providing tools, community, and a roadmap to begin building wealth for women across different stages of life.
