FONTS:
MASTHEAD: The slightly differently shaped M creates a
unique and bold look which also looks similar to a
gothic font which ties in with the horror genre. I didn't
want a horror themed title that is particularly
stereotypical of horrors, such as blood dripping or
claw marks, because of the reason that I will be
focusing on psychological horrors, and not jump-
scare/gore horrors.
COVERLINES: This font will be used for the cover-lines on
the front of the magazines, also for the titles on the
double page spread. I have chosen this font as it is a
serif font and contrasts nicely to the masthead which
is a sans serif font. It also has a slight gothic horror
look while also being stylistic as some letters are
cursive and some aren’t. The thinner font also creates
an appealing difference to the masthead which is a
thicker and bolder font.
BODY COPY: This font will be used for the articles and
paragraphs written on the double page spread, also for
small pieces of information on the cover. I have chosen
this font because of its clearness to read which means it
is effective to use in a smaller size and in readable
paragraphs.

THE BARCODE, LOGO AND PRICE ARE ALL FEATURED IN THE BOTTOM RIGHT CORNER AND WILL BE THERE FOR EVERY ISSUE TO MAKE IT EASIER FOR BUYERS TO ACCESS AT A CHECKOUT. THERE WILL BE ONE MAIN EYE-CATCHING IMAGE AS THE BACKGROUND BEHIND THE TEXT PUFFS AND COVER-LINES OF A TYPE OF SILHOUETTE WHICH IS MINIMALISTIC ENOUGH NOT TO MAKE THE TEXT UNREADABLE.
