Assign licenses and permissions to new users in bulk via CSV in Recruiter

Last updated: 3 weeks ago

As a Product Settings and Account Center Admin, you can assign licenses and permissions to multiple users on your LinkedIn Recruiter contract via the CSV file upload feature.

The CSV file template has columns for user information, including email address, first name, last name, and employee ID. It also has columns for each license and permission type.

Once you’ve downloaded the template, you’ll enter each user’s information and add active or inactive under the license and permission columns. The value you enter in the columns will determine the action taken for each user.

Here’s a summary of the steps to assign licenses and permissions to new users:

  • Download the CSV file for editing.
  • Make the necessary updates in the CSV file and save it to your device.
  • Upload the updated CSV file to process the changes.
  • Choose the preferred notification method for informing users.

    • Custom invitation email sends the users a custom invitation to activate their license on your Recruiter contract.
  14. Click Upload to upload the CSV and send the invitations.

A confirmation message appears if your upload is successful. You’ll receive an error message if data within your CSV file fails to upload. You can correct the errors and then upload the edited CSV file.
