Upload CSV files via LinkedIn Admin Center in Recruiter

The CSV file upload feature in LinkedIn Admin Center allows LinkedIn Recruiter admins to manage users in bulk.

The feature requires admins to download a template or a list of existing users from LinkedIn Admin Center and update it prior to uploading it in LinkedIn Admin Center. Additionally, CSV files must meet specific formatting requirements to successfully upload.

To upload a CSV file:

  1. Move your cursor over your profile picture at the top of your Recruiter homepage and select Manage users in Admin Center from the dropdown.

  2. On the Users tab, click Manage users via CSV  and select Upload CSV file.

  3. Click Upload CSV.

  4. Select your CSV file to upload. The upload will begin immediately.

After the upload is complete, you'll see the changes in LinkedIn Admin Center and on the user's enterprise profile.

You’ll receive an error message if data within your CSV file fails to upload. You can correct the errors and then upload the edited CSV file. A confirmation message will appear if your upload was successful. Learn what to do if you receive a duplicate profile error.

Important to know

If you are trying to perform bulk actions on more than 2,000 users, to avoid long upload times, use one of the following methods: CSV uploads or Groups (segment users into separate sections and take bulk actions on them).
