Campaign and ad set schedules

Last updated: 1 week ago

Setting a schedule for your LinkedIn advertising campaign helps determine its lifetime. You can choose to run campaigns or ad sets continuously from a start date or set a start and end date. With all campaign and ad set launches, be sure to factor in the time it takes for the ads and linked websites within the ads to be reviewed.

Important to know

LinkedIn recommends that advertisers don’t change the start date of a campaign or ad set to within 24 hours of the current schedule, as updates might not be fully implemented in time. Advertisers might be charged between the old and new start dates if the start date is changed to 24 hours or more beyond the current campaign or ad set schedule.

When setting a schedule, you can choose from:

  • Run continuously from start date - Select this option if you want to begin your campaign or ad set as soon as the ad is approved or at a later date. The campaign or ad set runs without an end date if this option is selected.
  • Set a start and end date - Choose the dates you want to start and end your campaign or ad set. If you schedule your campaign or ad set to start later, it will begin running at 12:00 AM UTC on your start date. If you schedule an end date, your campaign or ad set will end at 11:59 PM UTC on your end date.
