Cold emails SUCK. So, we sent hundreds of custom trading cards to the top creator agencies instead. The result? Wildly happy customers + demos booked from people who have been ignoring me for years 😉 — Here's how we did it. It's called Roster Royale. We turned the world's top creator agencies into collectible trading cards. Everyone got their own individual booster pack — think Pokémon cards — featuring their OWN creators AND team members. Each card has unique stats, rarity tiers, and custom attacks tailored to them. Instead of a heinous “Hey {first_name}! Hope you’re doing well! Wanted to reach out to see if you’d be open to a quick…”, we gave them something they wanted to open, share, and brag about to their friends. Cold emails get ignored. Trading cards get framed. — This is one of the many growth hacks we’ve done over the years, but easily the most fun. We've given away two dollar bills, built trophies out of concrete/glass (in my nyc apartment), and conducted industry wide reports. All of which have been FAR more successful than cold outreach.
