Honoring our veterans today and every day. 🇺🇸 Our Military Connect Colleague Resource Group hosted a special Veterans Day celebration at Sysco’s Global Support Center, featuring guest speaker SFC (Ret.) Michael Schlitz from the Robert Irvine Foundation and presentation of the colors by Westside High School's JROTC. SFC Schlitz shared meaningful reflections on what Veterans Day represents, how we can support veterans as family and colleagues, and the importance of recognizing the many veterans who are part of our Sysco community. #VeteransDay

We’re so proud of #TeamSysco! 💪 Sysco’s 16 incredible competitors recently represented us at The International Foodservice Distributors Association (IFDA) National Championship in Orlando, Florida! Congratulations to Rhett Kraft (Sysco Montana) on earning 2nd place in the 5 Axle category and to Rob Cummings (Sysco Canada Inc. - Kelowna) for taking 2nd place in the Straight Truck category! Both demonstrated outstanding skills and true Sysco spirit behind the wheel.🏆 A huge round of applause to all our competitors for their hard work, dedication, and teamwork. 👏

We’re proud to partner with The MICHELIN Guide to celebrate the incredible culinary talent across the American South and honor the next generation of chefs. 🌟 Last night’s ceremony honored chefs and restaurants whose creativity and passion make this region’s dining scene truly shine, and we were thrilled to present the MICHELIN Young Chef Award to E.J. Lagasse of Emeril’s in New Orleans. At only 22 years old, Lagasse has become the youngest chef ever to lead a kitchen with Two MICHELIN Stars. We are certain his extraordinary talent will light up the food scene for years to come and we’re proud to be a part of that journey. At Sysco, we’re excited to help small businesses and communities thrive, one plate at a time.
