The new Avia Labs facility at Millbrae Station is California’s first all-electric life science campus combining 50% Class A office and 50% lab space. Working with Flad Architects and Level 10 Construction, Salas O’Brien provided structural engineering and consulting services for this six-story, state-of-the-art facility, designed with an eccentric core that keeps shear walls off the perimeter, preserving open views and flexible floorplates. #EngineeredForImpact
