Torrey Heights’ distinctive façade has earned an honorable mention for Outstanding New Façade in the mid-rise category from the FTI Vitruvian Awards program. The life science campus’ three laboratory and office buildings feature tessellated glass-fiber-reinforced-concrete panels that appear to change color and texture as they interact with sunlight. Penn State Health and Flad recently celebrated the opening of the new Penn State Health Cancer Center at Hampden Medical Center with a bell-ringing ceremony. With an air of excitement, the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Veterinary Medicine recently marked the opening of a brand-new courtyard space with a tailgate event for students, alumni, staff, and friends. As the construction of two new facilities and a major renovation near completion, the SVM community came together to celebrate this important milestone as well as significant alumni achievements in the field. Plant Sciences Initiative – which brings together a wide range of scientists to solve the grand challenges of agriculture.
