When your business is built on enabling others to store, manage, and protect data, how do you design a space that makes the invisible feel tangible - and the complex feel human? In our collaboration with NetApp at the Santana Row Executive Briefing Center, we didn’t just build a showroom. We built a platform for conversation. From the generative-art Beacon to the Welcome Wall, from data-driven storytelling to human-centered design, this space is about what doesn’t yet exist: the future of their customers, the next wave of insight, the unspoken challenges that technology helps resolve. If you lead, manage, or build CX, innovation or briefing programs - this story is worth your attention. We were in NYC to celebrate the ribbon cutting of JPMorganChase's new global HQ at 270 Park Ave - a project we've been honored to work on as designers and consultants for the last 3.5 years, and one that has literally changed the skyline. Beyond its beauty and engineering, the new tower is a visible affirmation of JPMorganChase's ongoing commitment to its birthplace, New York City; a new axis of social infrastructure that expands public space, public art, and public services. Congratulations to our partners: Foster + Partners, Gensler, Skidmore, Owings & Merrill (SOM) , STUDIOS Architecture, 2x4, Two Twelve, Practice for Architecture and Urbanism (PAU), and LightField London . And thank you to our incredible clients who asked us to reimagine their workplace experience and offered us the chance to design an immersive installation in the beating heart of their new home (more on this soon). David Arena, Jim Shea, Terri Marinelli Barnes, Matthew J. Montañes, Peter Callahan , Eugene Pitts, Charlotte E., and Rachel Moskowitz - We are grateful for your vision and continued partnership.

MICROSOFT EXPERIENCE CENTER EMEA WORLD CLASS CENTER AWARD. We are proud to have helped Microsoft realize this vision. “This EMEA center is an example of a new benchmark in customer engagement, innovation, and sustainability. Their commitment to customer-first storytelling ensures that every visitor experience is immersive, meaningful, and relevant, with hands-on exhibits and real-world success stories bringing the company’s solutions to life. The tailored and immersive engagement spaces adapt seamlessly to various customer needs, from design thinking workshops to executive boardroom discussions, and they do so in beautiful, thoughtfully designed interiors. The center’s leading-edge technologies, such as Signature Teams Rooms with spatial audio and eye-level cameras, create spaces where hybrid collaboration can happen at its best. Finally, its LEED Platinum certification and sustainable culinary program showcase a pioneering approach to environmental responsibility, reinforcing the company’s commitment to innovation with purpose.” - Global Association of Customer Engagement Professionals (formerly ABPM) Jury

What happens when you design for trust? At NetApp’s Executive Briefing Center in Santana Row, data becomes dialogue. Together along with EBC Leader Ryan Cartwright, we created a space where technology disappears, and what’s left is connection - adaptive, human, and built for co-creation. #ExperienceDesign #ExecutiveBriefingCenters #DesignLeadership #CustomerEngagement #DataStorytelling

We relish these opportunities to connect with our community. Who will we see at WORKTECH Amsterdam at the Miro HQ?
Another year, another Worktech in my favourite city, and in one of my favourite spaces, Miro HQ in Amsterdam. Our local Corporate Real Estate & Worksplace community continues to explore dynamic architecture, and the workplace shift from task-based design to experience-based design. From creating places to do work, to creating experiences that make work feel meaningful. Look forward to catching up with peers and old friends!

How do you measure the impact of an Experience Center? When the world can’t stop talking about it. The Zoom London Experience Center was honored at this year’s Digital Signage Experience (DSE) by winning two DIZZIE Awards, taking home both the best Corporate Environment and the overarching Digital Signage Experience of the Year awards! We’re proud of our partnership with both Zoom and Electrosonic and our collective belief that when you design for conversation, the world joins in.

European Experience Centers are shifting from showpieces to listening engines that translate customer needs into measurable outcomes. On November 13th at the award-winning Microsoft Experience Center EMEA in Munich, we are proud to partner with Global Association of Customer Engagement Professionals (formerly ABPM) to convene leaders from Microsoft, Salesforce, Celonis, and Miro to unpack what actually drives impact: designing for dialogue and building platforms that evolve. If you lead, manage, or build Customer Experience / Executive Briefing / Innovation programs and want to help shape the next chapter, request an invite and join us for the conversation. Spaces are limited: jasper.reynolds@downstream.com (RSVP by 5 Nov). #ExecutiveBriefingCenters #CustomerEngagement #ExperienceDesign #EBCStrategy #DesignLeadership
