Methane emissions are still rising. Yet cutting methane remains one of the fastest and most cost-effective ways to slow global warming this decade, and the Global Methane Pledge — to cut emissions by 30% by 2030 — is still within reach. 80% of the reduction potential can be delivered through low-cost measures available today, but action must accelerate now.
