Our Maison reaffirms its commitment to nurturing exceptional talent and promoting a culture of excellence with a dedicated mentoring project which came to an end this year.  The 12-month initiative presented a unique opportunity for the winners of the LVMH 2024 Premio Maestri d’Eccellenza to refine their expertise: Antonio Dattis, a luthier and restorer of ancient instruments; Rinalda Bonzza, an artisan renowned for her innovative fusion of needle lace techniques and compact knot embroidery; and Fabio Molinas, a creator of a pioneering fabric made from cork waste. Throughout the collaboration, the winners engaged closely with our teams, gaining new perspectives and inspiration for their work. The next chapter in Loro Piana’s chronicles, the quest for the rarest raw materials. An adventurous traveller, Pier Luigi Loro Piana dedicated his life to sourcing the most precious fibres and transforming them into fabrics of incredible finesse. In Inner Mongolia, he discovered the undercoat cashmere goats that would yield the yarn for the Maison’s cloud-soft Baby Cashmere®. His journey continued to Australia and New Zealand, where he encountered Merino sheep of all sorts of hues whose coats would turn into the infinitely precious The Gift of Kings® fabric. In Myanmar, he came upon the lotus flower that would give birth to a fabric with a silky texture and cooling touch. Each material offers a glimpse into his vision: to celebrate the world’s noblest fibres and honour nature’s gifts with the utmost sophistication, performance, and quality. #LoroPiana

We celebrated our retail talents by bringing them together as an inspiring and empowering community. As part of a dedicated programme to recognise the daily clienteling achievements of the team, this year’s top performers, who reached exceptional results in our stores across our regions, met for a rewarding trip in South Africa. Driven by a commitment to make a positive impact, we supported a local pre-school, providing educational tools and equipment as well as creating a colourful space to encourage authentic self-expression within children. These shared values forged a common language and meaningful ties. A special occasion to celebrate a strong sense of belonging and nurture human connections, fostering learning and improvement. As part of the House’s commitment to support the enduring legacy of artisanship and textile excellence, Loro Piana partnered with the lifestyle magazine Arbiter to celebrate the art of tailoring at "Milano su Misura – Trofeo Arbiter".   Held at Palazzo Clerici in Milan on 24th and 25th October, the fifth edition of the contest brought 23 master tailors from around the globe together, showcasing the timelessness of suiting through the theme of ‘Winter Elegance.’   The creations were all realised with fine Loro Piana fabrics, and a technical and aesthetic jury composed of internationally renowned master tailors, experts in the history of clothing and textiles, along with leading figures with specific expertise in the field, nominated the winner. The Maison extends its congratulations to Francesco Florio of Sartoria Florio in Paris, winner of the Trofeo Arbiter, for his exceptional work with the House’s Capolavoro Tweed 2Ways and Doeskin materials. In addition, Loro Piana curated a masterclass dedicated to fabric-making was held involving the representatives from the Maison and the master tailors. #LoroPiana

Unveiling the Loro Piana Holiday 2025 Campaign. The Maison’s Holiday 2025 Campaign blends creativity with breathtaking nature and timeless elegance in the heart of the Swiss Alps, backdropped by a captivating snow-covered landscape. A new chapter in Loro Piana’s story of artistry, it unfolds inside and around the Grand Chalet, built in 1754 and once the refuge of renowned painter Balthus. Today, it is the home and studio of Balthus’ daughter Harumi Klossowska de Rola and her family, carrying a unique legacy. A playful interpretation of the House’s search for uniqueness. Loro Piana has travelled to New York for a captivating installation at Bergdorf Goodman – a destination that has always held a special place in the Maison’s heart. Mesmerising in every detail, it is staged with storytelling windows that feature iconic emblems. The exhibits trace a poetic journey from raw fibre to final product as showcased at the luxury retailer, starting in Mongolia and voyaging to Italy before arriving in New York. Continuing Loro Piana’s chronicles with Sergio Loro Piana, who unveiled the Maison’s contemporary essence. With his impeccable style, hands-on engagement, and passion for the arts, Sergio Loro Piana imbued Loro Piana with a modern identity underpinned by his taste for beauty and sophistication. He designed iconic signature garments, such as the Voyager and the Spagna. However, his real impact went beyond the beautiful creations and was to do with the distinct taste that the Maison came to be associated with – timeless elegance, and ultimate luxury. #LoroPiana

Winners of Knit Design Award 2025, Morgan Boyce and Simone Rizzato from Accademia Costume & Moda, concluded their journey bringing their project to life together with our knitwear teams and showcasing their final creation at the Loro Piana booth during the Pitti Filati fair in Florence. Celebrating the 10th anniversary of the contest, the Knit Design Award 2026 edition is starting soon with a new pool of international schools.
