It was great to see our Chief Resources and Sustainability Officer Sylvain Montcouquiol speaking at the EPRA (European Public Real Estate Association) Sustainability Summit in London today. He joined a panel on "Transatlantic Sustainability Strategies: Listed Real Estate in the EU vs. US" to discuss global strategies for success in sustainable real estate, investor expectations, and ways to navigate regulatory differences between the two regions. It was a great opportunity to showcase our sustainability framework and mindset. Sylvain shared how our long-term climate commitments are on track across both Europe and the US, stressing that real progress comes from discipline. Our Better Places roadmap fully integrates our Europe and US platforms, employing a unified framework, KPIs and targets across all regions, aligned with the most rigorous regulatory standards worldwide. Our approach to embedding sustainability at the core of our operating model builds on the active engagement of all team members, comprehensive sustainability trainings for all, and the quality of our portfolio of assets – which have benefitted from consistent, long-term investment in sustainability. What's more, many of our assets are already generating additional value through sustainable features such as rooftop photovoltaic plants or electric vehicle charging stations. As we approach the 10th anniversary of the Paris Agreement, URW remains steadfast in its commitment to achieving carbon neutrality on Scopes 1 and 2 by 2030, and we're proud to be well on track to meet these ambitious targets. This week we celebrated the rebranding of Westfield Černý Most in Prague and the opening of its new extension! On Wednesday, we were thrilled to welcome our business stakeholders and local partners to mark the occasion. Festivities culminated last night as visitors explored the new extension and enjoyed a spectacular free concert by Zara Larsson! The Swedish pop sensation performed in front of a crowd of over 3,500 fans as the centre proudly unveiled its new colours.     Centrum Černý Most - one of Prague’s first and most beloved shopping centres - now joins the global Westfield network of over 40 flagships across Europe and the U.S., a platform of destinations offering exceptional retail concepts, immersive experiences and industry-leading services.   👏 A huge thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate over the past few days, and to all who made the festivities happen. Three words to describe our participation at the CEMS Career Forum 2025 at Esade: interactive, lively and fun! The event welcomed over 1,000 students and graduates, plus more than 250 corporate representatives – and the URW team was proud to be among them, sharing insights on what it’s like to work at URW and opportunities within our International Graduate Program. Our incredible team at #WestfieldGlòries designed a treasure hunt for CEMSies that showcased different aspects of shopping centre management plus store innovations, shopping centre services, customer experience highlights and sustainability initiatives. Say hello to the latest Westfield destination in our portfolio – the newly rebranded Westfield Černý Most in Prague! This week the destination unveils its new name, as well as an extension that adds more than 30 shopping and dining concepts to the centre. Westfield Černý Most now spans around 94,100 sqm across 180 units and joins a network of 40 other Westfield destinations in the US and Europe, all renowned for delivering the world’s best shopping and lifestyle experiences, as well as industry-leading services and sustainability standards.     The new 9,100 sqm extension introduces a range of innovative concepts in enhanced, state-of-the-art formats. Westfield Černý Most now hosts Prague’s first JD Sports store within a shopping centre, alongside leading fashion brands Reserved, Sinsay, House and Mohito. In addition, Polish streetwear brand Cropp will re-open with a flagship concept in 2026, reinforcing the destination’s position as a premier retail hub. At the heart of the extension is a new Dining Plaza, integrating table-service restaurants, double-storey layouts and "robot restaurant" iFood. With porcelain dishware and bio-waste sorting, the Dining Plaza has also been designed to set new standards for sustainability.     The centre's CineStar multiplex has also added a Boutique Cinema and a new Gold Class complex, featuring three intimate premium theatres with reclining armchairs, tables and plush cushions, a private lounge and bar, as well as in-cinema food service offerings - a first within a shopping centre in the Czech Republic.     To mark this major milestone for one of Prague's most established shopping and lifestyle destinations, Westfield Černý Most is hosting a four-day celebration packed with exclusive offers and live entertainment. Tomorrow evening, the centre will host a free concert from internationally renowned pop singer Zara Larsson, promising an unforgettable night of music and high energy. At a ceremony held last night in the Cannes, in the south of France, Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier was named Best Urban Regeneration Project, a clear endorsement of the positive transformation that the development has brough to Hamburg’s HafenCity. Developed on a former industrial site, the destination has been thoughtfully designed as a vibrant, integrated district. It brings together retail, dining and entertainment venues alongside offices, residences, hotels and a cruise terminal. We’re thrilled to announce the expansion of our Westfield destinations platform to Edinburgh, Scotland! Last week, URW acquired a 25% stake in the iconic St James Quarter - one of Europe’s premier retail destinations - from Nuveen Real Estate. As part of this strategic partnership with APG, URW will also assume management responsibilities for the shopping centre, which is set to be rebranded as a Westfield destination in 2026. Opened in 2021, St James Quarter ranks among the top 20 highest-footfall shopping centres in Europe. Spanning 80,300 sqm, this landmark mixed-use destination features 110 retail, leisure, and dining units, including a boutique Everyman Cinema, alongside 152 premium built-to-sell apartments, of which 81 apartments are already sold. This makes St James Quarter the leading destination in Edinburgh by footfall. St James Quarter will retain its strong cultural heritage, local identity, and community connections, while benefiting from the globally renowned Westfield brand and its expertise in customer journey, experiential and services – as well as in retail media and brand partnerships, delivered through Westfield Rise. With the rebranding, St James Quarter will become the third Westfield destination in the UK, joining Westfield London and Westfield Stratford City, Europe’s two largest shopping centres. It will also be the 41st Westfield destination in our portfolio across Europe and the US.
