#BrandExperience at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier!  Over the past weeks, our quarter has become the stage for a series of standout brand activations — bringing global icons like Netflix, #CheezIt, and Parfums Christian Dior to life in unforgettable ways. Netflix – “She Said Maybe” Our visitors stepped into a cinematic universe as Netflix took over our destination with a stunning XXL hot air balloon straight from the film. Interactive photo moments, immersive storefront design, and dynamic 3D visuals turned every corner into a scene from the movie — creating a true blockbuster moment on site. Some lucky visitors even got to see the stars of the new movie, among others Caro Daur, Beritan Balci and Serkan Çayoğlu. Cheez-It – The Eggstreamer Launch Cheez-It transformed Überseeplatz, our central plaza, into a vibrant playground of beats, flavor, and fun. With a DJ, VIP lounge, and live social buzz, this activation perfectly blended entertainment and community connection. The event drew media, influencers, and celebrity guests like Evelyn Burdecki and DJ David Puentez, who amplified the experience across social channels — generating massive engagement throughout the day. Dior – Sauvage Fragrance Experience Adding a touch of luxury, Dior brought its iconic Sauvage scent to life on Überseeboulevard with an elegant branded wagon and interactive prize wheel. Shoppers could win exclusive samples and were inspired to continue their journey at our retail partners like Douglas and SEPHORA. Each activation showcased how brand, experience, and a unique location merge seamlessly at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier — driving emotion, engagement, and visibility on every level. #Dining: Internationally renowned top chef Thomas Bühner is opening a new dining concept at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier – right on the waterfront with a view of the river Elbe. Unlike his restaurants in Düsseldorf and Taipei, the focus in Hamburg is not on fine dining, but on a modern, cosmopolitan all-day dining and bar experience that emphasizes accessibility and joie de vivre. With this step, Bühner is consciously opening a new chapter – straightforward, inspiring and with international spirit. The opening is planned for the first half of 2026. Further details on the concept will follow – but one thing is already clear: Hamburg can look forward to a new culinary narrative. The space where the new restaurant will be located is on the ground floor of the Lee building and comprises a 600 square metre indoor area and two outdoor terraces totalling 120 square metres. The terraces face south, offering a unique view of the river Elbe, the harbour and the cruise terminal. For three decades now, Thomas Bühner has been one of the defining figures in German haute cuisine. He gained international recognition primarily during his time as head chef at the three Michelin-starred restaurant la vie in Osnabrück. Since its closure, he has travelled the world as a guest chef and consultant and opened further restaurants, including LA VIE by thomas bühner in Taipei, awarded a Michelin star, and TASTE by Thomas Bühner in Istanbul. In May 2025, Bühner celebrated his comeback in Germany with LA VIE by thomas bühner in Düsseldorf, which has already been awarded a Michelin star. With his new concept in Hamburg, he is now showcasing another deliberately unpretentious facet of his culinary creativity. Today is a special day for Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier. In the early hours of the morning, the "Independence of the Seas" docked at Cruise Center HafenCity. After many smaller ships, this is now the first time that the quarter has welcomed a large vessel. The approximately 4,500 guests now have the opportunity to explore the inner city of Hamburg from the river Elbe to the Alster lake during the day before the ship leaves again in the afternoon.   The ship looks really magnificent in front of the quarter! #Offices: Congratulations on moving in, #ShellDeutschland and welcome to Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier!   After years of extensive planning, development and preparation, our first office tenant, our partners from Shell, started moving in this month. The first teams are already working in the new office space and more colleagues will follow. Shell has set up its German headquarters exclusively in the building “The Yard”.   “The Yard” has significant qualities as an office location: Designed as an inspiring workplace, the office space on the quarter's waterfront offers state-of-the-art facilities with high sustainability standards. The architecture creates lively connections and facilitates a higher level of communication and teamwork. The building is located in the immediate vicinity of the heart of the quarter with its countless retail, dining and leisure options. Access to the metro station and bus routes is also right next door.   The building was constructed in an energy-efficient manner and is supplied with electricity from renewable energy sources. In addition, Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier was the first urban quarter in Germany to be awarded the ‘BREEAM Communities’ certificate. The certificate was awarded with the grade ‘excellent’ and recognizes the significant ecological and social contribution of the project.   The architects of the building are LRO GmbH & Co. #Brands: Our anchor partners for the #finedining cluster at Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier #Elemente and #AirBar13 to open in the first quarter of 2026 – interior fit-out has already started!   Rhubarb Hospitality Collection is our key anchor tenant for the exclusive fine dining and bar offering at the spectacular waterfront of our urban quarter. Interior fittings for the two future food & beverage and event hotspots have now started. The South American restaurant Elemente, which was specially designed for the location, and the rooftop venue 'Air Bar 13' will bring cosmopolitan appeal directly to the river Elbe. The concepts are scheduled to open in the first quarter of 2026. Located on the first floor of the Lee office building, directly on the waterfront, over 1,300 sqm are currently being transformed into the South American-inspired restaurant Elemente – the new signature concept from London-based RHC. Inspired by the four elements – fire, water, earth, and air – the restaurant unites two seemingly distant worlds, Hamburg and South America, across culinary, atmospheric, and aesthetic dimensions. This connection is deeply rooted in history: as early as the 19th century, Hamburg became the first European city to recognize the independence of South American nations – a vibrant transatlantic exchange that continues to this day. Elemente sees itself as a continuation of this relationship and the beginning of a new chapter in an old story.   At the heart of the concept is the idea of sharing: almost all dishes are designed as shared plates – from South American grilling techniques with local game to creatively reimagined seafood dishes and plant-based creations featuring Andean vegetables, herbs, and roots. The interior design also reflects the elemental theme, with natural materials, lush greenery, and an open spatial layout that merges a connection to nature with an international design aesthetic. In the same building, on the 13th floor above the office space, Air Bar 13 will open its doors on around 750 sqm. The rooftop bar is connected to the public viewing terrace on the same floor. Whether it's after-work drinks with colleagues or a lively celebration with friends and family or as part of a company event – thanks to the cutting-edge ambience and interior design, all visitors will immediately feel at home in Air Bar 13, whatever the occasion. The bar's striking highlight is its exceptional location, which offers a 360-degree panoramic view of the river Elbe, the harbour, HafenCity and the rest of Hamburg's city centre. #Offices: pilot Agenturgruppe moves its headquarters to Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier! The letting of office space in our quarter continues to progress successfully. The agency pilot, operating several office locations in Germany and Switzerland, has signed a long-term office lease agreement. pilot is relocating its headquarters to Westfield Hamburg-Überseequartier and will occupy around 5,600 sqm of space on floors 1 to 8 of the “Luv” building.   pilot is one of Germany's largest independent and owner-managed agency groups. Starting out as a media agency for traditional and digital media, pilot is now a full-service provider for effective brand communication. The new office space is scheduled to be handed over to pilot in the third quarter of 2026.   In addition to the fully let office building The Yard (8,000 sqm) and the largely let Lee building (10,500 sqm), Luv (9,150 sqm) is now also fully let. The letting rate for the three office buildings (27,650 sqm in total) stands at 85 percent.   Luv & Lee: inspiring and sustainable office space for the working world of tomorrow - designed as an inspiring workplace, the 19,650 sqm of office space in the Luv & Lee towers on the quarter's waterside promenade, offer state-of-the-art features with high sustainability standards. The architecture creates connections and enables a higher level of communication and teamwork.
