  • Last week, the Sportsbet team came together to celebrate Diwali in true festive spirit! We embraced the festivities with colour, energy, and togetherness across our Melbourne, Darwin, and Sydney offices!    With vibrant Diwali decorations, shimmering lights, and traditional motifs, our offices transformed into a festival of colour and joy. We kicked things off with a vibrant Bhangra dance performance, filling the room with music, rhythm, and infectious energy, while setting the tone for an afternoon of fun and connection. Of course, no Diwali celebration is complete without food, and ours was no exception! The team enjoyed a spread of authentic Indian dishes, from aromatic curries and snacks to classic sweets, offering a true taste of India’s rich culinary heritage. A heartfelt thank you to everyone who contributed, participated, and brought their enthusiasm to the celebration. #DiwaliCelebration #LifeAtSportsbet #EmployeeExperience #InclusiveCulture

  • The last two weeks have been full of trackside action, with the Sportsbet Caulfield Cup Carnival a sell-out success! More than 50,000 punters attended across three massive days and a Cup Day crowd that broke post-COVID records. We couldn’t be prouder of our partnership with the Melbourne Racing Club. "Partnering with the Melbourne Racing Club has truly been a game-changer. In just two years, we’ve injected fresh energy into racing and created experiences that are drawing in entirely new audiences," says Nathan Arundell, Chief Commercial Officer. Our Kick for Cash activation brought the heat with 2,003 fans taking a shot and 27 winners sharing $100K. The excitement was backed by legends John Aloisi, Alexander Volkanovski, and Daniel Gorringe. Caulfield Social Day also marked the launch of our Women in Racing initiative, spotlighting female leaders like Lizzie Jelfs, Rebecca Maddern, and Michelle Payne. It was more than a race day, it was a celebration of connection, confidence, and community. Here’s to making more racing moments more exciting, inclusive, and unforgettable. #InclusiveSport #NextGenRacing #SportInnovation #FanExperience #SportsbetCaulfieldCup

  • Last Friday, our Talent Acquisition team had the privilege of attending the 2025 Women in Sport Brunch hosted by Women Sport Australia; a powerful morning of connection, advocacy, and action at Melbourne Park. The theme, “Advocacy to Action: Policy. Investment. Power,” couldn’t be more timely. As global investment in women’s sport surges, Australia continues to lead the charge and Sportsbet is proud to be part of that momentum. From Olympians to CEOs, cricketers to changemakers, the panel reminded us of the incredible value women bring to every team, on the field and in the workplace. We left inspired, energised, and more committed than ever to building inclusive spaces where women thrive. At Sportsbet, we believe diverse teams win. We’re championing women not just in sport, but across every corner of our business. #WomenInSport #InternationalDayOfTheGirl #SportsbetCareers #EmployerBrand #DiversityAndInclusion #AdvocacyToAction #WomenInBusiness #TAteam #SportsbetLife

  • We’re proud to see our Head of Public Policy & Reputation, David Jancik, featured in WORK180’s article “Dads in the Lead: Why more men than ever are challenging parental leave stigma.” David’s experience is a powerful example of how walking the talk on parental leave builds trust, loyalty and deeper employee engagement. “Sportsbet fully supported me in my parental leave journey. As a business with a leading parental leave policy, all employees are encouraged to use the policy. Sportsbet even took it one step further – hiring me at the time, knowing that we were expecting our first child, and then still providing parental leave – this is because there is no minimum period of service hurdle for accessing Sportsbet’s parental leave policy.” We’re committed to creating a workplace where everyone feels supported to thrive, at work and at home. Day 💛   It was fantastic to see so many team members come together to connect over a coffee and cupcakes in support of our community's mission.   Peter Harman, John C., and John Warner shared their personal stories and the importance of asking R U OK? not just today, but every day. From inspiring speakers across the business, to Alex Zaccaria from Linktree sharing his journey, plus trumpeters, race callers and even a popcorn pit stop, it was an event that truly went the distance. 🎥 Catch the highlights in the video below 👇 #CustomerSummit #CustomerFirstandLast #CustomerObsessed

  • Last week, we celebrated Wear it Purple Day at Sportsbet! Our Sportsbet Pride Collective also shared their recent AWEI Bronze certification news with celebrations across our Melbourne, Darwin and Sydney offices! The afternoon was filled with storytelling, awareness and fun, featuring a live panel with Pride Collective members, followed by a few high-spirited rounds of Drag Trivia to test our knowledge and spark laughter. Tasty snacks, refreshing drinks, and a sea of purple made the celebration unforgettable, but it’s the stories shared and the ongoing support that truly matter. #WearItPurple #PrideCollective #AWEI #InclusionMatters #SportsbetLife #DiversityAndInclusion #DEIB

We are thrilled to announce that another 2 organisations have successfully achieved Bronze Tier Status in their AWEI Foundation Submission. This is a remarkable accomplishment and a testament to their dedication to LGBTQ+ workplace inclusion throughout Australia. It represents a significant milestone in advancing the efforts of these organisations to make clear and tangible commitments to equity for their employees and customers. Congratulations to the following organisations who achieved this in the month of August: 🌈Roche Diagnostics Australia 🌈Sportsbet These organisations who obtain Bronze Tier Status this year are in addition to 218 organisations who achieved this during the last two Submission years, many of whom went on to reach a higher Tier recognition annually. They also join other organisations who achieved this status this year. The AWEI Submission has now entered its fourteenth year, and during this time, it has seen substantial changes in both its processes and structure. The latest changes have been implemented to accommodate the diverse range of submitters more effectively. To achieve Bronze Tier Status within the AWEI Foundation Submission, participating organisations must obtain 80% of allocated points. Once this is achieved, organisations are eligible to submit an AWEI Advanced Submission in effort to obtain Silver, Gold or Platinum Tier Status within this benchmark. Work done within this part of the AWEI is no small feat, as it means these achievers have established the baseline of LGBTQ+ inclusion efforts within their organisation, with the intent to continue and progress in this journey for employees and customers. All final winners, results and achievements of the current Submission year are announced at the annual Australian LGBTQ+ Inclusion Awards in May 2026.
