The Saurashtra University Library is a pioneer in Gujarat that has implemented several innovative technologies and services, including: using SOUL library automation software, introducing barcoding and campus ID cards, digitizing theses, and providing wireless access and an RFID card security system. The library aims to expand its building, human resources, collections, and e-resources, which currently include over 4,000 e-journals through UGC-INFONET. It is working to further digitize services and integrate open-source tools on its website to better serve users.
