Launching the Communication
Plan

Communication plans are used to express the need for change to all members of the organization.
Leaders at Rockingham Community College can launch the communication plan in a face to face
meeting where the need for change is outlined and explained.

Leaders can communicate with employees throughout the change process using a variety of
tools made possible by technology. Rockingham Community College can use the school
website as a tool to communicate with instructors and other staff. The school should also
utilize emails and text messages as a way to communicate important timely information. The
school’s social media account can also be provide instructors and staff with information
regarding changes.
