High Tea at the Imperial Gold Coast with Exec Housekeeper Debbie Wilson
Tell us about your property's approach to sustainability? It’s important to us as a local business and it’s also a determining factor for our guests so we do everything we can to host responsibly. We have joined some of Australia’s leading hotels in providing our guests with the new Ecofill platform which saves tons of plastic from entering our oceans whilst offering our guest the finest French brands such as Codage Paris. It’s proving to be such a gamechanger in Housekeeping as well. We’re saving a lot of time, money and the environment without scrimping on quality. Everyone wins. We're also introducing our Summer Eco Stay Packages which gives our guests choice when it comes to housekeeping options.

What can guests look forward to this school holidays at the Imperial? Come for our amazing high tea - The best on the Goldie, our Saturday night seafood buffet, and of course one of the nicest pools in Australia. The property has become more family driven since we rebranded to the Imperial (previously Versace). Obviously, the location, the climate but also the proximity to SeaWorld and co. We’re also very proud to have our own pastry chef in the kitchen who makes everything right here !!
Which are your favourite Weatherdon products at the Imperial? We use the Nero products here consistently, they are built to last, elegant and well-designed. The 2 year warranty is amazing when purchasing across so many rooms…and of course Mel Bent , our Hotel Partner. She looks after us like we are family, and we love her to bits.
