LinkedIn Conversion Tracking reporting and metrics

In Campaign Manager, you can see the following metrics in the Conversion & Leads view at the campaigns level, ad set level, and ads level to help you understand your conversion performance.

To find your Conversions & Leads view, go to the Campaigns, Ad sets, or Ads tab for your account, click the Columns dropdown menu and select Conversions & Leads

Here's a tip

For CSV conversions, it typically takes between 24 and 48 hours for data to be available for reporting. In some instances, it can take up to one week. For Conversions API, the time it takes for the data to be available depends on the type of conversion. Check the status based on the typical frequency of the conversion event.

Conversions

Total number of times users took a desired action, such as a download or sign-up, after clicking on or seeing your ad.

When conversions can’t be attributed to individual users, we may use modeled conversions to measure conversions in place of using individual-level data.

Click Conversions The number of clicks on your ads that led to a conversion.
View Conversions

The number of views of your ads that led to a conversion. 

For example, sometimes a user will view your ad, visit your website later, and then convert. Even though this user might not have clicked the ad, LinkedIn will attribute these types of conversions to your ad set if the user converts within the timeframe you chose when setting up your conversion.

Conversion Rate Percentage of conversions relative to clicks (total conversions divided by clicks).
Cost Per Conversion The average amount you spent on each conversion (total spent divided by conversions).
Total Conversion Value The total value generated by your conversions (value per conversion multiplied by conversions). This value can be defined when creating conversion actions, which is how much you consider each conversion is worth to you.
Return on Ad Spend The revenue generated for ad spend (total conversion value divided by amount spent).

Important to know

To protect member privacy, some conversions may be measured using predictive AI models or on-device conversion tracking.
