Add or edit a group logo

Last updated: 5 months ago

A group logo is a image that displays what your group stands for. It helps members recognize your group and brings members together by creating a shared identity.

Important to know

Only group owners have the permission to add or edit the logo. Group managers or members don’t have the access to edit the logo.

To add or edit a group logo:

  1. Click Groups from the left pane of your LinkedIn homepage.

  2. Select the applicable group from Your groups list.

  3. Click the Edit icon on the logo image.

  4. Click Upload logo

  5. Select an image from your files and click Open

  6. In the Edit logo window, you can:

    • Edit logo image: Crop the photo, use photo filters, adjust, change the position and size, or rotate your logo image.
    • Change logo image: Click Change photo and follow prompts to change your logo image.

Notes

  • The recommended size for logos must be square images, at least 60 x 60 pixels for a small logo and 92 x 92 pixels for a large logo.

  • The image should be in JPEG or PNG format.

  • If your logo doesn't meet the requirements above, it will automatically be resized.

  • Your logo will be displayed on both light and dark backgrounds. If you upload a transparent logo, it will be shown on a white background. Test your logo to make sure that it looks good to you on both light and dark backgrounds.
