All current group owners, managers, and members can share the Group URL. This URL can be posted in your feed, blogs, or other websites so others can request to join your group. This is essential to grow your community and to ensure active participation.
Important to know
You can share the group URL for both Listed and Unlisted Groups. When you share the group’s link, members won’t be able to view any group information unless they navigate to the group homepage.
To share a group URL on LinkedIn:

Click Groups from the left pane of your LinkedIn homepage.

Select the applicable group from Your groups list.

Click the
Forward icon below the cover image. -
You can select:
- Repost to Feed – Create a public post to share the group link with your connections. You can add a message to provide details about the group in the Interested in joining this group? section and click Post.
- Send in a message – Share the group link with one or more individuals via direct message. In the Type a name or multiple names box, enter one or more names, write a short message about the group, and select Send.

Click Groups from the left pane of your LinkedIn homepage.

Select the applicable group from Your groups list.

Click the
Forward icon below the cover image. -
Click Copy link to copy the group link.

Paste the copied link into any external social platform and share.
To share a group URL:

Tap your profile picture.

Tap Groups on the left pane.

Select the applicable group from Your groups list.

Tap Share.

You can select:
- Share in a post: Create a public post to share the group link with your connections. You can add a message to provide details about the group in the Interested in joining this group? section and click Post.
- Send in a private message: Share the group link directly with one or more individuals via direct message. In the Type a name or multiple names box, enter one or more names, write a short message about the group, and select Send.
- Optional: You can also specify the group name in the Group name field.
- Share via: Use external social platforms to share the group link outside the LinkedIn.
- Share QR code: Generate a QR code for the group link. To share the QR code:
- Tap Share group code to share the bar code via external social platforms.
- Tap Save to photos to save the bar code as image in your gallery. You can then share the QR code via external social platforms.

Click Groups from the left pane of your LinkedIn homepage.

In the Groups screen, tap the
More icon to the right of the applicable group that you want to share. -
Select
Share this group and then select the application through which you want to share the link of your group.
