Flashback Friday | McGraw-Hill, New York Today we’re looking back at one of the landmark addresses in our project portfolio: the McGraw-Hill Auditorium and interiors at 1221 Avenue of the Americas in New York City – the McGraw-Hill Building. These archival photos capture the auditorium, interior workspaces, and the tower itself, all featured as part of Syska Hennessy’s historic project work for McGraw Hill in New York. A fresh take on healthcare spaces — FIXT Dental's new 3,000 sf Wellesley Square clinic blends modern design with cutting-edge technology, and we were proud to provide MEP and Fire Protection engineering to help bring it to life. The space includes four treatment rooms, three hygiene rooms, a CBCT scanner, a sterilization center, and a state-of-the-art dental lab — all carefully integrated to deliver an elevated patient and provider experience. Exciting to see the Mount Sinai Behavioral Health Center featured on CBS News! This state-of-the-art facility on Manhattan’s Lower East Side represents a $140 million investment in advancing mental health care. As highlighted by CBS News New York’s Cindy Hsu, the new center is helping break the stigma surrounding mental illness and expanding access to critical behavioral health services. Syska Hennessy collaborated with the project team to provide MEP, fire protection, fire alarm, architectural lighting design, and building management systems services for this remarkable project, supporting Mount Sinai’s mission to deliver compassionate, innovative care in an environment designed for healing.
