Are short component lifecycles sabotaging your ITS profitability? 📉 For Intelligent Transportation Systems, choosing industrial hardware with an embedded 5+ year lifecycle is the single best defense against the cost of obsolescence. When you invest in lifecycle certainty, you eliminate the constant, expensive burden of: - Re-qualification - Re-imaging - Re-certification This stability is the key to presenting a lower, more predictable Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) to municipalities, which helps you win multi-year contracts and build long-term trust. Integrators: Is your ITS hardware ready for the next five years? In the fast-moving world of Smart Cities, the hardware decision you make today determines whether your solution survives or fails in the future. We look at the one critical hardware decision that prevents technological obsolescence from ruining your TCO: Designing for Expansion. This strategy means building on platforms ready for high-performance Edge AI and V2X communication now, so you can simply swap out a module instead of replacing an entire roadside computer later. Ready to maximize your deployment's lifespan? Get the complete strategic guide: https://bit.ly/43SFA2I #IntelligentTransportation #TechnologyStrategy #RoadsideTech #Innovation

AWS RUMI Framework at Embedded World North America Last week at embedded world Exhibition&Conference, OnLogic and Intel Corporation showcased the RUMI (Reactive Unified Multi-agent Interconnect) framework at the OnLogic booth. The demo ran across multiple OnLogic devices, all powered by Intel Corporation processors, demonstrating RUMI's plug-and-play architecture in action. Watching devices dynamically join and leave the knowledge mesh - broadcasting their capabilities, AI models in use, while RUMI automatically redistributed workloads in (near) real-time - was truly promising of what is possible. 🔮 What makes RUMI special? It showcases how multiple MCP (Model Context Protocol) and A2A (Agent2Agent) client-servers can work together as a unified knowledge base, enabling seamless edge-to-edge, edge-to-cloud, and cloud-to-edge communication across diverse hardware platforms. 💡 Key Highlights: • Real-time multi-model inference running locally on heterogeneous OnLogic devices • Dynamic information sharing via MCP and A2A protocols and tools • True edge-first architecture for enhanced security and reduced latency • Self-healing, resilient system that gracefully adapts as devices come and go A huge thank you to Intel and OnLogic for their continued partnership and providing cutting-edge hardware that powered this demonstration. The performance and reliability of Intel processors and OnLogic rugged devices enabled RUMI's complex multi-agent orchestration and real-time AI inference to shine. What's Next? We're excited to announce that the RUMI framework will be showcased at multiple locations, with many partners during AWS re:Invent! Stay tuned for more details on where you can see it in action. 🙏 Special Thanks: This success wouldn't have been possible without the dedication and support of an incredible team, both behind the scenes and in front of the attendees! Amber Cobb, Alexander White, Alexander Parady, David Lovegrove, Hunter Golden, P.E., Corey May, Preston Banas, Chuck Nwokocha, MBA, Thomas Poplawski, Nate Wheaton, Yong Ji, Sean Falconer Thank you all for making this demonstration a resounding success! #AWS #RUMI #CEI #EdgeComputing #EmbeddedWorld #Intel #OnLogic #reInvent
