  • Are America’s grocery carts undermining long-term health — or on the brink of a quiet reset? 🛒 A new nationwide analysis from FoodHealth Co. and NielsenIQ scored more than 200 billion grocery purchases from 70,000 U.S. households, finding the average FoodHealth Score at just 48.9 out of 100, well below the level tied to better long-term outcomes. Yet the data also suggests modest weekly swaps — think white bread for whole grain — could shift the national score by double digits.
