Nature's Bakery believes wholesome food is the most important school supply to help students thrive—but notebooks and pens are also essentials they need to succeed! Our team (plus our special furry friend 🐶) recently provided thousands of school supply kits and soft baked snacks to elementary and middle schools in the communities where we operate. We're proud to lend a helping hand and support teachers and students right in our backyard. 🍏📓 #NaturesBakery #StrongerTogether

The opening of our facility in Salt Lake City last week is not only monumental for Nature’s Bakery, but is also an important milestone in Mars' ongoing commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing and is part of their $2 billion investment through the end of 2026. This site represents not only an investment in infrastructure. It represents an investment in the future of snacking, the local SLC economy, and the skilled workforce that will drive our initiatives forward. This investment represents our largest expansion to date - a cutting-edge, 339,000 square foot baking facility that’s now fully operational and producing Nature's Bakery products to drive greater capacity to meet growing demand. We’re thrilled to bring more of the snacks people love to more families nationwide!
Building on our ongoing commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing, today, we’re celebrating the opening of a new $240 million facility for Nature's Bakery in Salt Lake City, Utah. This is part of Mars $2 billion investment into U.S. based manufacturing through the end of 2026. The new bakery will act as a west coast manufacturing hub for the brand and will create 230 new jobs in the region. The LEED Silver-certified site features smart automation and will help expand the brand’s capacity by unlocking the ability to produce nearly one billion bars each year. As the snacking category continues to grow and as consumers’ tastes and preferences evolve, this investment will enable us to expand the reach of one of our fast-growing better-for-you offerings. Today, Nature's Bakery reached an incredible milestone: officially opening our Salt Lake City baking facility! The 339,000 square foot site will enable us to produce more than 1 billion incremental bars per year, driving greater capacity to meet growing consumer and retail demand. This $240 million investment supports Mars ongoing commitment to U.S.-based manufacturing. Yesterday Mars announced plans to invest $2 billion into U.S.-based manufacturing through 2026, this builds on the $6 billion that it has already invested over the last five years. As a self-manufacturer, this expansion joins our existing bakeries to position Nature's Bakery as a leader in the better-for-you snack category—and we couldn’t do it without our talented team. We are grateful for the cross-functional collaborators, leaders, builders and beyond who made this incredible project a reality through their hard work and dedication. A special thank you to Mayor Erin Mendenhall for celebrating today’s ribbon cutting with us. We are thrilled about the positive impact this expansion will have on our brand, employees, and the Salt Lake City economy, as we deliver more of our beloved snacks to further our brand purpose of nourishing families and enabling them to thrive. Last week, our sales and marketing teams traveled from near and far to gather in Salt Lake City – the location of our soon-to-be baking facility! We toured the new site, connected on balance of year activities, collaborated on 2026 planning, and celebrated lots of wins (and a couple of birthdays 🎂). Every offsite is an opportunity to underscore how much we value team work—and each other. Until next time! #NaturesBakery #StrongerTogether

School is out for the summer, but I want to take a moment to recognize the wonderful people at the Guadalupe Center Charter School and the Utah Food Bank. During the school year, our Salt Lake City team at Nature's Bakery proudly partners with both organizations to help ensure children have access to nutritious meals. Through monthly volunteer efforts, our team assembled and distributed meal kits that reached nearly 200 households monthly. It’s an honor to support the No Kid Hungry initiative and make a meaningful difference in the lives of local families. A heartfelt thank you to Mia Canham, our incredible MSP Coordinator, for her leadership in organizing these efforts and inspiring our team to serve. We’re already looking forward to continuing this important work when the new school year begins this fall! #communityimpact #nokidhungry #naturesbakerycares #volunteerinutah #foodsecurity #guadalupecharterschool

Right now, 14 million children across the country are at risk of losing access to the food they rely on. Every family deserves the peace of knowing they can put meals on the table, but a new bill moving through Congress could mean deep cuts to essential food assistance programs that many count on. At Nature's Bakery, our purpose is to nourish families and enable them to thrive. That’s why we’re lending our voice and why our CEO, Steve Gardiner has proudly joined No Kid Hungry’s CEO Pledge to End Childhood Hunger. Beyond purpose and pledges, we need to take action. If you’d like to join us in being a part of the solution, here are ways to help: ✅ Give your senators a quick call—find their contact information here: bit.ly/43vr0NO ✅ If you’re able, consider donating to support Share Our Strength’s rapid response efforts that work to increase advocacy, mobilize their network, build coalitions, and drive awareness to ensure family food security is a priority. ✅ Talk to your family and friends about why protecting SNAP matters, what’s at stake for children, and why they should follow your lead and take action too. We’re in this together. Visit lnkd.in/gzYmKTQ9 to learn more. #NaturesBakery #StrongerTogether
