Chargeflow secures $35M to scale chargeback automation as eCommerce losses hit $100B #Chargeflow has raised $35 million in new funding, combining a $25 million Series A equity round and a $10 million debt facility, to expand its chargeback automation platform. The equity round was led by Viola Growth, with participation from existing investor OpenView Venture Partners and additional backers, bringing the company’s total funding to $49 million. Founded in Modi’in by brothers Ariel Chen, CEO, and Avia Chen, CMO, Chargeflow focuses on post-transaction fraud and dispute management. The platform automates evidence collection, dispute responses and bank submissions, delivering a success rate four times higher than the industry average. The company serves more than 15,000 businesses globally, has tripled revenue year over year and now employs 160 people across Israel, the United States, the Philippines and Poland, with 60 staff based at its headquarters. The funding comes as chargebacks continue to surge. Mastercard forecasts a 24% increase by 2028 to 324 million cases annually, with approximately 80% classified as “friendly fraud.” These disputes generate over $100 billion in losses each year. Chargeflow integrates with more than 100 systems, including Shopify, Stripe, PayPal, WooCommerce, Adyen and Afterpay, and charges $0.20 per transaction, with performance-based pricing on recovered funds.
