Welcome to Alpine Investors, Oliver Northover! Oliver joins the investing team in our New York office, where he’ll help identify and build partnerships with exceptional businesses and leaders. Before Alpine, Oliver worked at Astorg, investing in enterprise software and tech-enabled services across Europe and the U.S. He began his career at McKinsey & Company where he focused on private equity. He holds a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor’s in Politics, Philosophy and Economics from the University of Oxford. “I’m excited to join a team with a distinctive investment strategy and a powerful toolkit for building great businesses,” Oliver shared. Last month marked the Alpine NYC team’s fourth year volunteering at GrowNYC’s Demonstration Garden in McCarren Park, a tradition we look forward to every fall. Our team spent the afternoon building benches for public parks, painting and staining garden beds and produce bags, and preparing compost to be distributed to local community members. Founded in 1970, GrowNYC’s mission is to ensure that every New Yorker has access to fresh, locally grown food, vibrant green spaces, and education around environmental stewardship.
