Last month marked the Alpine NYC team’s fourth year volunteering at GrowNYC’s Demonstration Garden in McCarren Park, a tradition we look forward to every fall. Our team spent the afternoon building benches for public parks, painting and staining garden beds and produce bags, and preparing compost to be distributed to local community members. Founded in 1970, GrowNYC’s mission is to ensure that every New Yorker has access to fresh, locally grown food, vibrant green spaces, and education around environmental stewardship. Through their farmers markets, community and school gardens, and programs that reach more than 70,000 children and adults each year, GrowNYC continues to cultivate a more sustainable and connected city—and we’re grateful to play a small part in that mission. #CommunityImpact #GrowNYC #Sustainability #VolunteerDay #AlpineInvestors #ForceForGood
