Celebrating a Milestone in Flat Racing! 🏇 In June, the Pretty Polly Stakes – a top-level Irish flat race for fillies and mares – took place! First run in 1948 at the Curragh and named after the legendary racehorse Pretty Polly, this event showcases elite racing talent and continues to be a highlight of the summer racing season. This year marked Paddy Power's debut in sponsoring a Group 1 flat race, so we pulled out all the stops to make moments to remember including; 📺 Paddy Power TV Feature: Our special feature on Pretty Polly was showcased on Racing TV, capturing the essence of this legendary mare and the history of the race. 🎤 Exclusive Interviews: We spoke to former jockey and leading pundit Fran Berry to reminisce about past races, adding depth and nostalgia to our coverage. 🏁 Race Day Success: The Curragh displayed all our footage, allowing racegoers to experience the full story of Pretty Polly. 🏆 Thrilling Victory Celebrations: Aidan O'Brien's Whirl clinched the win! We caught up with Robert Catterson, Broadcast Planning Lead for PPTV to share his insights on this exciting project! 📽️ 👀 A special shout out to all of our colleagues who had a hand in making it all happen. 👏 #PaddyPower #PrettyPollyStakes #FlatRacing #ChangeTheGame

At Paddy Power, we were deeply saddened recently to hear about the passing of our former colleague Louis Murray. Louis spent nearly seven years working across Flutter Entertainment - from his start in our grad programme to working with Paddy Power, Flutter UK & Ireland, Sportsbet, and FanDuel. Everywhere he went, he made a big impression and was hugely valued by everyone lucky enough to work with him. We’re touched to see his CarTrawler teammates honouring him with a walk on July 2nd, and we’ll be joining in to show our support and celebrate his memory. To help make a difference, Flutter Entertainment will also be matching all donations his teammates raise for the Irish Cancer Society. 💚
Last week was a very sad one at CarTrawler, as we said goodbye to our colleague and friend, Louis Murray. Louis was a vibrant, warm, and wickedly funny person — someone who brought humour, heart, and integrity to everything he did. He will be deeply missed by all of us who had the privilege of working alongside him. Next week, in Louis' memory, we’re organising a Louis Legacy Walk to celebrate his life and raise funds for the Irish Cancer Society — a cause close to him and his family. I know many former colleagues from Paddy Power, as well as CarTrawler’s partners and suppliers, will have fond memories of Louis and may wish to contribute. If you'd like to support or participate in spirit, the donation page is below. Rest in peace Louis. https://lnkd.in/eyywnrUH

Paddy Power Volunteering Day with London Play Design ⚒️ Recently, a brilliant bunch of volunteers from Paddy Power got together to help rejuvenate playgrounds across London – all as part of Flutter Entertainment’s global volunteering initiative for colleagues to 'Do More Together.' From fixing up old equipment to clearing out areas that had seen better days, the team got stuck in and made a real difference to spaces where kids can play, explore and have fun! 🛝 It was a day full of teamwork, laughs, elbow grease – and thankfully, plenty of sunshine too! ☀️ Huge thanks to everyone who took part and helped organise and to London Play Design for letting us be part of the great work they do every day. We’re incredibly proud of the impact of Paddy Power’s Bigger 180 campaign at this year’s Professional Darts Corporation X Paddy Power World Darts Championship. A massive £1,027,000 raised for Prostate Cancer UK, proving the power of sport to make a real difference. 💙 From Luke Littler’s incredible 76 180s, raising £76,000, to Christian Kist and Damon Heta’s nine-darters unlocking an extra £120k, every moment at Alexandra Palace was charged with purpose. 🙌 Thanks to ambassador Sir Chris Hoy, over 180,000 men checked their prostate cancer risk, and together we’re one step closer to saving lives through early detection. 🏆 Across Flutter Entertainment, we’re committed to improving the lives of 10 million people by 2030, and the Bigger 180 campaign is a shining example of how the UKI region are helping to make this vision a reality. Nine-Darter Magic with Paddy Power last night at Ally Pally! 🤩 Jack Wilson has summed it up brilliantly along with a must see video below... but here are the highlights once more 👀 🥳 🎯 Christian Kist (World No. 102) hits a nine-darter and triggered the £180k BIGGER 180 bonus! 💰 Kist banked £60,000, with another £60k donated to Prostate Cancer UK AND £60k gifted to a lucky fan in the crowd. 🍀 Kris from Sutton, there with his Grandad, was the lucky recipient of the fan prize— probably the best birthday gift ever!? 📺 Sky Sports broadcasted the incredible moment live, with coverage picked up by major outlets including the BBC. So far: 163 180s have been hit = £223,000 donated to Prostate Cancer UK's TRANSFORM screening program and 77k men have already checked their risk—on track to hit the 180k target. 👏 ...And there are still 12 days left of the tournament! 🏆 #BIGGER180 #Darts #ChangeTheGame #DoMore
Is this the greatest night at the darts ever? This is the moment Christian Kist, who has earned £19,750 in the last two years of his darts career, threw a nine-darter at Ally Pally to bank his £60,000 share of Paddy Power's £180,000 BIGGER 180 bonus. The nine also triggered a £60,000 donation from Paddy Power to Prostate Cancer UK - making the single match alone worth £72,000 as there were 12 180s too - and another £60,000 to a random fan in the crowd, who could barely speak afterwards. Kris, a 28-year-old from Sutton who works on the railways, was there with his Grandad, who'd brought the tickets to the darts for him as a present. The dramatic moments that it all unfolded played out to a huge TV audience live on Sky Sports, whose coverage was, as ever, exceptional A stellar job from Adam Perfect and the team at Professional Darts Corporation, and Dan Morgan and team at Wasserman Live, for executing in the arena last night, complete with incredible reaction from Ally Pally too. A reminder this will happen for EVERY nine-darter - and there's still 12 days to go...

Today was a big day for the Paddy Power The BIGGER 180 campaign, as none other than Sir Chris Hoy was unveiled as its first ever ambassador! 🎯 Chris joined Prostate Cancer UK CEO Laura Kerby on BBC Breakfast this morning to call on 180,000 men to check their risk. 📣 There was also a pre-show highlight for Chris, when he bumped into his own personal hero and comedy legend, Bob Mortimer. (Wouldn’t we all love a chance to cast a line with Bob and Paul?!) 🎣 The segment, planned for five minutes, stretched to 13—which we are taking as a sign of great things to come...Watch this space for more exiting updates! 👀 🙏 #TheBIGGER180 #ProstateCancerUK #PaddyPower #theBIG180 #DoMore
