Today we shared some exciting news to make flying with Jetstar even more rewarding. Qantas Frequent Flyer Extra is a new loyalty product allowing Club Jetstar members to earn significantly more Qantas Points and up to 75 Status Credits when flying with us.  Members can earn:   - up to an additional 1300 Qantas Points and ten Status Credits per international flight  - up to 725 Qantas Points and five Status Credits per domestic flight within Australia, New Zealand and Japan.    It will supercharge members' earning power by allowing them to collect Qantas Points across all eligible Jetstar fares, including Starter Fares for the very first time. We’re committed to helping our customers take off more for less and recently reduced the number of points required to book a short-haul Classic Reward seat on Jetstar to 5,700 points.  And there are more exciting changes on the way. From next year, Frequent Flyers will be able to use their Qantas Points to upgrade to Business on Jetstar international flights. We have a culture of continuous improvement at Jetstar. It means teams across our network, from pilots and cabin crew to engineering, airports and head office, are working hard to make each day better than the last.  The latest domestic airline statistics released today are a testament to their hard work and dedication. Last month we recorded our best September on time departure rate in 10 years, outside of COVID: - 78.3 per cent of flights departed on time; and - our cancellation rate was just one per cent, the lowest of any major carrier    Even better, we delivered this strong result during one of our busiest months with more than 8,200 domestic flights carrying customers to school holidays and the AFL Grand Final.  Qantas (Qantas and QantasLink) also delivered another strong result in September, with 81.1 per cent of flights departing on time, making it the most punctual airline. We've still got work to do and our culture means everyone at Jetstar remains focused on delivering a great experience for our customers every time they choose to fly with us. #jetstar #takeoffmore

First Officer Sam had the best passenger on his recent Adelaide to Melbourne flight – his mum Fran! 🧡 First time flying her since joining Jetstar, taking her from their hometown to his new home in Melbourne. His PA: "Couldn't have done it without you, Mum." ✈️ 

Newcastle, we're back making history ✈️ 2004: Our very first commercial flight departed from Newcastle Today: We've brought international flights back to Newcastle Airport Pty Limited launching direct services to Bali 3 x weekly. More than 70,000 seats annually.   Big win for the Hunter. Big moment for Jetstar. 🧡 

Fastest aircraft mechanic in the world? That’s Bailey!🏃♂️✈️      Our Melbourne based Aircraft Maintenance Engineer didn’t just run 42.2km at the Sydney Marathon; he did it in full aircraft mechanic gear complete with a spanner in hand.  He’s now a Guinness World Record holder - turns out, overalls are more aerodynamic than you'd think!     Bailey said he’s “proud to set a world record and represent the incredible mechanics who keep aviation moving every day”. Go Bailey! 

From “I do” to JQ946!💍✈️ Fresh from saying their vows, Melbourne newlyweds, Melissa and Corbin, boarded their honeymoon flight to Cairns still rocking their wedding gear. Talk about travelling in style! We were so impressed we sent Cabin Manager Rachel to surprise them with a second honeymoon on us - two return flights anywhere on the Jetstar network! Congrats Melissa and Corbin🧡
